PSP - Comando Regional / Comando Equiparado a Comando de Polícia de Ponta Delgada

Very friendly police who processed my complaint. I was victim of a fraud.
The police was very patient and even drove with me to the property of the scammers to see the situation by themselves.
They speak very good English and are open to hear everything.
What is more to say...this is how a visit at the police should be!

Good morning world.
As a #digitalnomad I experienced a lot in the world. But that goes too far beyond rights. We went to a club in #PontaDelgada, in #Sao
Miguel and I waited for my friends outside. The doorkeeper got annoyed of me and just suddenly beaten me up.
Girls picked me up and brought me down to the police station. There I just got threaded as a criminal. Well, I didn't do anything just wanted to report that violence against me. I wasn't allowed because I had 1.5 alcohol level. Yes, I am wasn't sober but I know what was happening to me. Still, I am not able to hear anything on my left side. The police officer of the #azores didn't care and kicked me out... Don't even guess in a friendly way.
After law of that country, I am not allowed to report that #violenceagainsteuropean . Now I want to report to the world. Friends of mine experienced the same and at that point, it is enough. Everyone should #know and spread the message.

The Azores aren't protected, for travelers and I wouldn't recommend going there if you are planning to live your life. Police just tries to support their own recommendation and save the reputation of the island.

So we had 2 rented cars and we parked on a boulevard and the meter closest to us was not working.. So we turned the corner to the next closest meter and paid on that one.. But each boulevard or street has its own meter you cant pay for a parking on any random meter.. We did not know this so we were slapped with 2 30euro fines.. And the police couldnt "erase" the tickits.. Very upset.. Ontop of that the officer who issued the tickit wrote 1 minute before the time reachedb we had the parking intill 28 and he issued it at 27.. Photo below... Not that it matters aince we paid the wrong meter but still...

Desagrado total.

Como cidadão, venho por este meio lamentar a falta de civismo e profissionalismo do agente da PSP destacado em serviço no aeroporto de PDL, dia 3 de junho pelas 00h30, ao não ter qualquer formação na recepção aos passageiros com bebés a dormir ao frio, criancas cansadas, enquanto os pais desesperam com a chegada
dos carros da rent car, que em vez de ajudar, simplificar a vida às pessoas, prevalece a arrogância, e ameaças .
Lamentável, e farei chegar o meu desagrado a altas patentes e comunicação social.
