Great place for local food. Large buffet includes creamed cod, beef, pork ribs, octopus, and goat. All well cooked and seasoned. Sides of potoes or rice and 1 salad option that was divided ( not tossed, you could choose to only take cucumbers if you wished) Carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce. If you don't like meat, this might not be your choice. Staff hustles and still smiles.

Outstanding service. The single waitress ran the bar, all orders and table bussing. It was amazing.

Swordfish + octopus made us happy. Octopus prepared with sophisticated sauce, fish really soft and tasty. Never ever ate such one.

Great , simple place for a travellers. There is a daily buffet : paying 9 Euro per person (for children 4-10 yo 4€/pp)- just for food , drink dessert or coffee is not included. Food is REALLY TASTY and you have a big choice of fishes and meat, there was even rice with sea food. Very good if you want to try many l things from local kitchen. Also big choice of yummy home made desserts. Definitely good value / money. Strongly recommend for someone who looking for simple good food or is very hungry :) :)

Best meal we had on the island. You can choose from buffet, variety of meat, including pork and sea food. Both spare ribs and grilled octopus 🐙 was really well done. Absolute food orgasm only for 17 euros, including a big glass of house wine 🍷

Close to the lake. A wonderful Buffett, the best I had in the Azures with many fish dishes as well as other meats and veggies. I wish I had found this place earlier so I could have come on multiple days.

Fantastic traditional buffet! Food quality was excellent. We arrived 5 minutes before opening and they let us in and greeted us without issue. Highly recommend!

A nice and welcoming place, feels like home. We were given a table very fast, even though we had no reservation for dinner. The Bife was one of the best beef stakes I ever tried, very tender. It came with fries and rice. We also had blood sausage with ananas and we loved it. Never tasted such a mix of flavours. A must try. Mariana, the hostess helped is choose the wine, and it was a very rich wine made on Pico island, where grapes grow on the volcanic rocks - the whine is called Terras de Lava. We didn’t order desserts, because we were full (big portions), so we were served local passion fruit liquor and pineapple liquor (on the house) - we are not into liquors, but these were so good that we took some take away. Mariana also served us with a liquor mix (2) which the locals seem to love, and it was fantastic 😅 so we took some take away as well. Next day we wanted some take away lunch at lunch they have buffet, omg their beef stew is so good. Don’t miss this place if you’re in Cete Cidades.

Great lunch spot after visiting the lakes - large wine portion, all you can eat buffet, and espresso for 15 euro! Loved the potatoes and short rib.

Simple yet great place to have lunch, visited by many locals.
Buffet options included meat, fish and some vegetables. Chocolate mousse was fantastic!
Lunch with bears for 2 people cost us 40 euros.

Absolutely amazing. 13 euro for all you can eat and a half bottle of wine per person. The food is all delicious and high quality. Pork, fish, chicken and multiple stews. Not much for vegetarians though. Definitely visit!

We arrived a little too late for the kitchen but they had the buffet up, excellent local and homemade food! Everyone serving had great attitude and good mood, it's busy for a reason ❤🙂
