FREE Cool place worth visiting. Went bankrupt and heard a Chinese company has bought the place/land. Should probably see it since you rarely don't see a decade old vacant place just sit wide up for anyone to come in and see. Great view from the outside and the roof. To get to the roof = TOP FLOOR, ACROSS FROM THE ELEVATOR (OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ELEVATOR) The middle room will have a room with a stair case to the roof. The sides are just rooms. Enjoy the cool, creepy atmosphere.

Best time to visit? Definitely on a day with low cloud! The mist adds to the scary atmosphere as you wander round the rooms and abandoned public areas. It did make you feel like you could be in a horror movie. make sure you have a torch to the best areas

Hard to believe that this place was once open. It is such a spooky and surreal place to visit. From the parking lot, continue up the road and you will find an entrance to the left. There, you find the abandoned hotel with all the graffiti and old/destroyed interior. You can also go to the roof if you go to the second floor and take the stairs in the back of the building, which offers an incredible view of the surrounding nature. But you need to be careful due to the debris and slippery floor.

Easy explore with road access and parking right near the old hotel. The full building is easily accessible but note that this area rains 200+ days of the year so you will need to bring waterproof shoes and a raincoat

Views from the top were spectacular. Better than any of the lookout points.

Very cool place. Can recommend if you like abandoned places. Also good view over the lakes.

Wow this abandoned hotel ruins is quite amazing and looks like something straight out of a video game or dystopian movie. It was the only 5 star hotel that opened back in 1989 and closed shortly in 199(1?). Nature has reclaimed a lot of it already and the inside is super spooky and tbh probably scary af at night. It is definitely worthwhile to come here and explore esp if youre already around at da vista do rei! There is a small parking lot just outside of the hotel’s side entrance (where the burger food truck is located). You have to walk downhill on the road towards the food truck which is where the entrance is (currently not obstructed or closed off). Explore at your own risk!

Quite dystopian and bizarre to see but totally cool especially if you’re into abandoned buildings.

What a waste of concrete, but such a fantastic place to visit. It's crazy to see how the nature is invading this abandonned place.
The entrance is very easy. We spent about an hour inside.

Great 5 star Michelin hotel! The reception isn’t was friendly! The staff were amazing, the lobby was comfortable. I loved the pigeon music. Best thing was no windows, food was unforgettable and I had the whole hotel to myself. MUST SEE THE DISCO! Lol

Almost felt like someone was trying to tell a story with this hotel of a time that once was....like a forgotten period of glamor, cocktail parties and pure bliss. Breath taking views...by far the best on the island...this is my view and seems like the view of many from the amount of people that have gathered to see this ruins compared to other site seeing.

It was very heartbreaking to watch what once was a marvelous 5 start hotel being abandoned, vandalised and robbed.
However that's evolution together with poor planning, personal interests and lack of product market fit.

I was able to get inside this day and see what is left of the building.
Initially I thought it was never finished and open but learned that it was open for 15 months before getting bankruptcy.

This is a marvelous place to get a rooftop view from the lagoon.
Even better that the official sightseeing.

It s a bit of urbex moment while going to the rooftop, but the view is amazing.
Even if it s abandoned since years the structure seems stable and secured.

Lots of people came here to enjoy the view.
Graffitis on the walls are also part of the experience.

Worth the climb of few floors and the dust.

Behind the hotel there is open gate. Some peoplea are jumping over the fence but they don't need to ;)

Look no more, best views on the island and without tourists and easy access. Make you you get to the rooftop. The views are stunning.
It says forbidden access but door was open and there were quite a few groups.
