Really good grilled chicken, sangria and chocolate mousse. Portions are big and staff is really nice. Enjoyed it :) prices also really good.

The chicken wings and spicy chicken were fantastic!! The food was cheap and all tasted amazing. The garlic bread was the overall favorite!

The lunch buffet is excellent! Choices of chicken, fish, rice, potatoes, French fries, and salad. The wait staff is very friendly but gets very busy so you might be waiting a bit during busy times. Located in a beautiful setting with a cool breeze.

I am so happy I made the drive to come here , The chicken was awesome, the hot sauce they serve it with is absolutely amazing. Service was friendly and the guy dealing with payments was shaking everyone's hand before they left and was a nice gesture . I also really enjoyed the wooden touches and how the place is built,it has a nice vibe in there . Also not sure what days it runs but I happened to be there during a buffet and that had great value .

We were on a family holiday and happened to find this place on our 5th night. I wish we had found it sooner, we would have been back several times. The service is friendly, the chicken is so good! Grilled perfectly, falling off the bone and very tasty. After a week of traditional Portuguese steak with egg or fish, this was a welcome treat. The chicken wings were amazing as well. Big portions, good wine and good value! We were all very happy with the meal.

If you are looking for an excellent meat and fish, make a stop here. We had a great time in the restaurant and the waiter was a really nice guy. The portions and very big and delicious, all the food is fresh, the price is just perfect, the atmosphere were very pleasant. Highly recommend the restaurant.

This is possibly one of the best restaurants on São Miguel. I had fantastic chicken and the décor and staff are too. Everything that came out looked incredibly appetising and generous portions. Outstanding value in my opinion.

Eveything was really delicious and very kind people working there. We ate white cheese with piripiri sauce, was really good and milky. Then we ate lapas dos açores which a seafood. We cant say we loved it but i imagine seafood lover would love it. We had one portion/half a chicken grilled, and it was even enough for two people.

We've been here twice. Staff is courteous and professional, with several of the staff going out of their way to be kind and friendly. The buffet has delicious food, with chicken, fish, soup, salads, and various potato or rice dishes. The restaurant has been crowded both times, and it can get a bit loud so it's not necessarily best for quiet conversation during the buffet, but it's perfect for a social group or celebration, and the setting of the restaurant itself is quite beautiful inside and in the courtyard. Highly recommend.

The soup of the day (€1.80) was tasty, the grilled tuna (€12) good and the squid (lulas €10) delicious. Both the tuna and squid came with boiled potatoes and a lettuce, red cabbage, carrot, tomato, cucumber and onion salad. For dessert we had what they called tiramisu (3.90). It wasn’t really tiramisu since it didn’t have the usual ladyfinger cake but it tasted very good and I would recommend it. The house red wine was fine and 50cl was €4. The service was good, the portions large and the food came quick enough. It was a good meal- worth the €31.70 cost.

This restaurant is the best! The Vieira family makes you feel at home. The food is unbelievable. So delicious and plentiful. The restaurant is very quaint and the staff are top notch!!

Our party of 9 has dined here twice so far while on vacation. Both times, the restaurant was busy, but they quickly accommodated us. The food is amazing, the variety is great, and the prices are outstanding. We hope to visit once more before heading home. Definitely worth checking out!

Friendly hospitality and great local vibe. The rotisserie chicken was seasoned so well and the hot sauce made for perfect dipping. Perfect for a food stop in between sightseeing and hiking the western end of Sao Miguel. This was highly recommended by our hotel.

The buffet is great. They always have soup, and 4 different dishes ( BBQ chicken and grilled limpets are delicious ).
Totally recommend it.

Beautiful place, full of locals so ticks the box of being somewhere with quality.

Food was fantastic and great value for money, no ripping off tourists!

We came when there was a lot of closures due to holidays, but the staff made us very welcome and allowed us to pick up a takeaway the next day as they were fully booked so we had dinner when everything was closed

Recommend the half chicken - very succulent and juicy with crispy skin ,
