This is one to cherish. Very authentic, no fuss, no frills. Amazing view of the ocean and the small harbour. The waitress spoke no English, and was beyond kind and sweet. Which reminds me that I have to work on my Portuguese!!!! The lapas and the garlic corn bread, wow. The tuna steak was very tasty too.

View is insane here. Service is very friendly and helpful. Loved the food. Squid is amazing. Oh and don’t forget the Blanche Maria for dessert!!! It’s really the best.

Amazing food, beautiful views, the best staff! Everyone that works here is so sweet and always take care of you. The food is delicious. My favorite is the Lapas! Our favorite restaurant in the Vila and the view of the Ilhea you just can't beat it!

Me and my mum had dinner here during our stay in Vila Franca do Campo and loved it. Great portions, authentic comfort food and the owners were very polite and attentive. The place overlooks the islet of Vila Franca do Campo and the surroundings are very quite and peaceful. A must go if you're in the area and plenty of parking space if you're driving there.

Lunch with a great view. We had the Octopus and the Chiccharos and were definitely satisfied.

Best dinner table view in the city. A short and fulfilling menu with modest prices. We ordered the lulas and tuna plates, ended with a flan - it was all good to the last bite. The best part of the meal is being so close to the ocean waves. Check out the surfers

I ordered white cheese on leaf with bread, both were delicious.
The waiters don't speak English well, the menu is much longer than the A4 sized paper you receive. If you want something, ask for it.

Although at first glance the restaurant doesn't look great, the food and the view are. We eat very well, only fresh products, local products for the most part. Apart from the boss, it does not speak much English (and understands it with difficulty) which makes us feel even more in a good local restaurant. A good choice of wine too. In short, go for it! Surely the best of Villa Franca de Campo (really)

This is a great spot, especially at sunset and the evening. It does get busy, people sit down and just expect service immediately. We went in had a chat with the staff who then helped us find a seat, we had to wait for 5 minutes as they were full outside. Again with the service, just wave them down if you cannot catch anyone’s eye. Staff were great, very welcoming, food was reasonable priced for what it is.

A very cosy restaurant with a spectacular view in this town, we went there three times during our week’s stay in Azores. Squids and octopus are fantastic, garlic bread being no exception.

We ordered soup and two kind of fishes, everything was amazing. Restaurant have lovely terrace with sea view. Delicious food, friendly staff, quiet place and good prices. For me, this restaurant was best in Sao Miguel island.
