My wife and I dined here and had the fixed price meal for 2. The meal comes with everything including dessert and wine. The wine was extraordinary, we had the split lamb and cod servings. The crumb and cod was a highlight for sure. Not to understate the lamb as it was fabulous as well. It is beyond belief that so much excellent food can be provided for such a reasonable price. Hats off to the chef and the whole team who made this delicious meal and very memorable night for us.

Lovely tucked away restaurant. Chef Thomas and his staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and servings were generous. The price for the three course meal for two with a bottle of wine was very reasonable. We would go back again!

We had the most pleasant dinner and night! Best restaurant in town. The chef is really nice and very friendly and of course the food was delicious. The waitress is very friendly and helpful too and very funny but professional. They speak English and Spanish. The food was great and the wine too!

It is more than you think. I had a wonderful time with my best friends and we promised we will come back in 5 years.

Absolutely fantastic. The chef is there a lot himself and as an Austrian I was so amazed to get this great and authentic cuisine served by someone from Tirol. Highly recommend the wine and the dessert of course

What a great restaurant! We had the fixed menu of the day which consisted of: mixed entree (local cheese and cold meats with olives/ olive oil/bread), an enormous portion of Bacalhau cooked in a terracotta roof tile, a choice of desserts ( I had a Brazilian egg tart, delicious!) a bottle of Vinho verde from the chef’s vineyard and coffee all for 35€ for two. Tabuaco is situated above Pinhao and is renown for its vineyards.

Very nice experience, I definitely recommend this place. The food cooked by chef Thomas Egger is excellent!

We had an amazing experience here. The staff speaks fluent English. My wife is celiac an cannot eat gluten. The Chef came out and asked for her alergies and tastes and based on that prepared a delicious starter and a cod for us (which was not in the menu). The kids enjoyed the kids menu. Throught the entire dinner both the Chef and the staff attended us in a friendly manner. We felt welcomed, had great time, and most of all ate a flavourful dinner. Thank you.

We arrive a little after 7 pm and stayed until 9:30 pm. We opted for the chef’s menu of lamb chops. The chef’s menu included appetizers, main course of lamb chops with potatoes and salad, a bottle of vinho, and desserts. It was excellent.

I would eat here every night if I lived here! We did did not get to meet Chef Egger but his wife was there overseeing everything. The staff was fantastic and they made it a very memorable meal.

Incredible value for a dinner for two.

Went there three times and would come back if I could. The famous codfish is good but the meat is even better, especially the “alcatra” which is enough for two. Staff is super friendly too. Great list of wine from the region. (Desserts are ok though, but you will be too full for one anyway)

The chef came out of the kitchen to talk to us twice...food was fantastic,wine which was from the region was also excellent...I highly recommend this place.

A great place. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. And the food, of which you will have a hard time deciding on what to have, will prompt you to write home about it.

Excellent dinners, competitively priced, in this friendly restaurant. The octopus and veal steak were superb.
