Double viewpoint De Loivos

A very beautiful view of the Douro's Valley and the vineyards!

Accessible by foot, from Pinhão.
You can either pass through paved streets (from the west side of Pinhão) or the vineyards (from the east).

/!\ But be careful: in summer, there's very little shadow along the way, and overall the slope is stiff so take a lot of water!

Awesome place for admiring the Douro Valley. The access is a bit rough sincw the streets are very narrow. The easiest way to reach is by car or motorbike, bike (not sure if the public transportation is very handy, but you should check if interested).

Absolutely stunning views. Road up isn't too bad, with very little traffic. Alternatively you can hike up from Pinhão.

Amazing view! Route to the top along the wineyards without clear signs. High temperature, so takie with you a lot of water (I was there in September).

It was a lovely day , and we could watch this amazing sunset at the end. Perfect and peaceful time to enjoy with someone special.

Beautiful double viewpoint. There are 2 "balconies" a few meters apart, the bottom one has trees so it's more shaded, both have an amazing view of the area. The climb here through the hiking trail from Quinta do Bonfim is difficult and will probably take more than the 50 minutes suggested by google, and shouldn't be done in the midst of summer when it's too hot.

You can walk up here from Pinhao within an hour, and can do a roundtrip with two different paths. 7am was a lovely time to do it, with no direct sunlight for the whole time even in the peak of summer. If you go up the paved western path, you will be rewarded by a lovely view, and then you'll be able to walk down the beautiful dirt roads on the eastern path through Quinta do Bomfims vineyards which give even more stunning views for the whole journey down. It's worth it and I think this is the perfect way to do the roundtrip.

Simply the best view in the Douro. The last 1 km up the cobble road was a driving adventure - narrow and 20-30 % grade. The paved road was easier to come down.

Great viewpoint you can see Pinhão and Douro river. I walked up here starting from Pinhão. It took 1 hour from near Quinta do Bomfim.

An amazing site seeing place! One can see the Douro river curves and Pinhão vilage at the bottom of a breathtaking hill. 100% recomend!

This is a nice spot for a view. There is some parking so don't mind about that.
