I was glad to trust my gut and come here instead of the main street restaurants. Absolutely lovely family run restaurant with great tapas style dishes, made a cold windy day - a better one. Smoked cod is a must here - it's basically melting in your mouth. Ask for dessert - 3 types were hiding in the fridge 🙂

This was definitely among our best meals in Portugal. It had a fun mix of people from the neighborhood and tourists eating/drinking there.

We had the roast pork sausage (chorizo), padron peppers, garlic shrimps, and baby octopus with garlic, along with bread and olives and the red sangria. Everything was excellent - definitely don’t miss this place if you are around Tavira.

Been here a couple of times now for a mid afternoon snack. And we’ll be coming back. Good selection of tapas. Our top trio are the cheese and honey, anchovies in oil and lots of garlic, and muxama. Lovely people who run this place. And a good location away from the main drag and near the church. Portions are great for sharing.

A beautiful little restaurant and a very pittoreske corner of Santa Luzia, I was welcomed very friendly, took a seat outside, and was recommended the freshly marinated cod fish (Bacalhau)! What a delight of a dish… it reminded me of the best sashimi - tender, fresh, extremely delicious 🤩 In addition I ordered the dried tuna tapas, equally delicious! Finish with a coffee, watching the moon, stars and friendly neighborhood. Can’t wait to go back to try more. Thanks!

Not my first visit and definitely not my final one as i love the authenticity and passion that they put into their dishes. Especially being vegetarian it’s a great pleasure to find some tasty options. Both inside and at the terrace you can enjoy hospitality. Also their fish dishes are a welcome change to the general options at other restaurants. Like the smoked Mackerel on toast. Highly recommended

Perfect find for tapas and wine! Family owned for about 4 years. This small restaurant deserves the praise it receives. Friendly, laid back, fresh ingredients in simple classic dishes. Goats cheese with honey, smoked cod, fried garlic prawns! 😋

All the tapas were very good. €50 for two persons with wine, beer, coffe, bread, Beirao and 5 different tapas. Well worth the price. Delicious! We will definitely be back!

Try everything! You won't regret it. But my favourites are:
- smoked codfish (bacalhau fumado)
- cheek (bochecha)
- honey and mustard chicken (frango com mostarda e mel)

Delightful small and intimate tavern with delicious tapas. The owner was happy and helpful. Olives, dried tuna and chicken in mostarda and honey were as good as it gets. I never thought to sit here and enjoy the Red Hot Chili Peppers while sipping Vinho verte, & eating delightful Portuguese petiscoes! Toto Bem!

Don't judge this place by its small appearance. Get in and you are met by a familiar atmosphere and the best food prepared by the family. Definitely worth visiting. We got Tapas and wine. Really good.

Amazing food and nice people. Small kitchen, so. It could take time, but it’s worth it!

Best shrimp tapas and squid ever ate! It is quite on pricey side as 8/9 Euro for small plate, we got 3 and it was still not enough. It's not really for lunch or proper meal but would definietly recommend to try the shrimp and squid, best ever!

Great little tavern with charming decor. Extensive drink menu. Enjoyed a pitcher of sangria and flamed chorizo on a sunny afternoon in peaceful Santa Luzia. Liked it so much we went back two days later.

Had an absolutely stunning selection of tapa which included padron peppers, baby squid, mozzarella and tomatoes amazing flavours and great portion size.I must recommend the house red wine it was better than a 40 euro bottle in another restaurant I visited.
Then to top it all the staff were fantastic, full of smiles recommendations and nothing too much trouble including organising a taxi home.
A must visit !!!
