By far the best Portuguese traditional food! Everything we ate from the fish soup to lemon rice was incredible! Can’t wait to visit Algarve again in order to eat here!

This is one of the best restaurants in Portugal, the quality of the food, especially fish and seafood and the creativity of the dishes is just outstanding. The cuttlefish black rice with truffled ham and the seabass with mango gaspacho were some of the best creations I have ever tried.
However, booking a table is a nightmare (they don't pick up the phone), and service can be very poor and arrogant (our waiter was tragic).
But overall still definitely worth a visit to a legendary restaurant.

The food is delicious and definitely worth coming here. Strong recommendation for the fish soup, the octopus pataniscas and the lemon rice with claims and fish. The first service (19h00) can be considerably noisy both inside but it gets a bit more quiet later during the night. It's hard to book a table (you need to call in the morning) but I recommend that you try to achieve so.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the Algarve.

The food is of superb quality and the service is excellent. Definitely worth your money, and best of all, it’s not expensive, given the quality of the food, the presentation and offer in terms of food and wine. The portions are good.
Noélia is a wonderful cook, and she is there, smiling at you in the kitchen.
The staff is very friendly and once again, the food is EXCELLENT.

Simply put: five stars and a moon.

Absolutely brilliant! As always. One of the best spots in the Algarve. Its not easily done, where you get authentic Portuguese food with a good setting and great service. And just to top it off, its not expensive. This is my concept of a great restaurant and what most should strive to reach!

Small restaurant that has been recommended by two friends. It’s easy to oversee it but it surely is very popular and make sure to have your reservation. Service could be better but food is indeed very good.

We’re not usually plan ahead, make a reservation type people, but the owner of our hotel recommended this place so we figured ‘what the heck.’ And am I glad we did! The ceviche was incredible, the food fresh and flavorful, the service was stellar, and a great wine selection. It was clean, well run, delightful and reasonably priced. Tables were a bit close together but didn’t feel cramped at all. I highly recommend Noelia for lunch or dinner. You won’t be disappointed.

A "must visit" for anyone who likes their food. The oven baked rice with seabass and prawns (or with black Angus steak when available) is highly recommended as is the wild seabass and almond curry. To avoid disappointment, you should book in advance. Excellent customer service in a bright, vibrant restaurant.

The food was wonderful and the service very good. Because it's such a good restaurant, the waiting line is massive, so plan a few weeks ahead and book a table if you don't want to wait to be seated in the months of July and August.

We had a perfect meal - delicious starters were original and fresh; the two rice dishes we chose excellent and delicately flavoured. Past reviews mention slow service but if there have been problems, seems they have been fully resolved - services was attentive and helpful. Strongly recommended!

I’d give 6 stars if possible! Outstanding food and service. It was a struggle to book (we had to phone multiple times) however it was worth the effort.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Noelia. Food was absolutely great and very good use of the local produce. Service was OK but could be better to step up to the level of the food. The atmosphere was less relaxed than most places in the area and at times felt snobbish.

Fabulous mackerel starter to share followed by seabass and prawn cataplana, lovely potatoes soaking up the sauce. Service was not rushed, polite friendly staff. Busy but didn't have to book. Will go back to try the fritters

Wonderfull seafood restaurant worth the drive from Tavira. I recommend the Cataplane which was exceptional!

This is the very best place to eat in Cabanas. The food was cooked to perfection and made us smile! Noelia is the perfect host and her team are professional and attentive. You will need to have a reservation as it's very popular.

I feel like I should give this one star just to keep it a secret, but that would be wrong.
At Noelia you get a blend of home cooked authenticity with an experimental modern twist and it’s sensational. It’s a perfect example of how Portuguese do food bette than anywhere else. You would find this kind of cuisine in fine restaurants in the major cities for $$$. But here it’s in a quiet, out of the way place and popular with locals.
