Praia de Cabana

Stunning beach in Tavira! You need to ride a boat to arrive there, which is quote easy and affordable (in my case, 1.50 euros to go and return). When you arrive, there's a pretty decent restaurant, a place to rent seats at the beach and a bar where you can buy drinks and ice cream. So a very nice structure if you're looking for a comfortable experience. Water is cold but much more friendly than Cascais, for instance. And the sea is just perfect. Must go in Tavira for sure!

The best time to go is around 1pm to 6pm. This way you get the clean water and no seaweed or algae. Long sandy beaches with plenty of space. Busy during August but still worth a visit.

At the end of September we just need to walk a few hundred metres to be in open space away from the relatively small crowds at the sun lounger section.

Really lovely beach with no commercial establishments; you need to take a boat to get here even the walk is so pretty and peaceful!

It is worth a visit even in winter time. The water taxi costs 2€ p. P. for both a return ticket.

The pub and toilet were closed on December but the beach is a beauty, esp. with very few ppl! Sitting there or having a picnic is super relaxing.

Lovely beach, lots of wildlife & dog walkers even in February, a lovely beach you can get to without needing to get on a ferry. Cabana Beach & Seaside area are much less touristy than other towns further along this coastline.

Beautiful clean beach which goes on for miles. Access by taking a small boat trip across the inlet. There is a bar which serves food drinks and ice cream. Very clean toilets. Well worth a visit.

In low season, this place is heaven. You can get some great photos across the river to the town.

Another stunning beach along the beautiful Algarve

An absolutely beautiful beach. Most people take their own umbrellas, chairs etc but they can be hired - rather expensive. The short boat trip is only €1.50 return, great service.
