A perfect spot for the sunset. The lighthouse gets very busy so we were able to park on the main road just before the turn off to get here, note it's not really a road just a walking dirt path from there to Pedra das Gaviotas. You can find any number of spots along the cliff to watch the sunset without actually needing to make it to a specific viewpoint. Be careful to respect the vegetation between all the rocks though!

Übersetzt heißt dieser Felsen im Meer, unweit des Leuchtturms wohl, Felsen oder Stein der Möven. Derartige Felsen sieht man hier an der Algarve sehr oft. Der Name kommt daher, da er intensiv von Möven ist Nistplatz genutzt wird. Wenn die See stürmisch ist, knallen die Wellen derart gegen den Felsen, dass es mehr als 10 m hoch spritzt.

wir waren da als Ebbe war, deshalb haben wir keine riesigen Wellen gesehen, dafür haben wir den Strand entdeckt. Der auch wunderschön ist.

Sitio increible. Muy bonito ver la fuerza del mar y la altura de los acantilados. Puedes ir después de ver la puesta de sol andando desde el cabo de San Vicente.
