Mar à Vista

The food was incredible and really tasty! We tried goose barnacles and were so impressed that we ordered another round for the table. The mains we all had different grilled fish, stuffed squid etc and were all equally well cooked and flavourful. The desserts (cakes such as the Garoob cake and almond) were really delicious. Basically we couldn’t have enough of the food, absolutely faultless, thank you! Would recommend to anyone who wants to try fresh, well cooked seafood and yummy desserts!

A real gem. Location is fabulous with a beautiful view of the ocean, nice parking lot and very upscale service. Had a fish stew (cataplana) that we will remember.

We had a very comfortable delicious lunch at Mar Vista . Grandma’s stuffed Squid was a great home style dish I loved. The olives were very nice too.
My wife had a wonderful salad that she is still raving about, fresh , crisp and colorful. We also enjoyed a great bottle of wine recommended by our server. The wine list is amazing.

I expected a restaurant with this great location to be lower end but this was delicious with great service. Grilled chicken with peri-peri was great. So glad we stopped here.

A lovely family meal at Mar a Vista with grant views across to the Sagres Fort. We had the freshly caught turbot which was divine. Also grilled swordfish and squid grandma's style...which I gave to say I will have myself next time we visit. We had a selection of traditional puddings which were very nice. Service was very attentive, would recommen booking especially if you want a table with a view. We will come back next time we are in Sagres

Really, really great food. Awesome view from terrace. Really enjoyed our stay here. Good service too. The house specialties (stews etc ) can definitely be recommended, but should be enjoyed by at least three people not like to as it says on the menu by 2.

Amazing view! Everything we tried was excellent. Fresh, grilled fish, shrimp, oysters, percebes. Highly recommended.

Another restaurant that deserves 5 stars! I did not order much because of my mood but my oyster was good my hubby clams pasta was great, wine selection is also good that include Port wine...Staff are Friendly helpful! location beachfront.

Lovely restaurant looking out onto the beach in Sagres. Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Discovered the delights of tuna paste, and enjoyed the taste of traditional Algarve tomato salad and Tuna Steak. It was a perfect meal to have on a sunny evening.

We visited this place in May 2021. The food was great and the view is breathtaking. If we are coming again in Algarve in the future, we will for sure visit this place again for one of the best lunches we have ever had.

The Tuna was excellent, I was recommended Bream which was also great. Will hopefully revisit before we leave. Views are amazing

A beautiful little restaurant with views over the sea. Easy parking, very good service and delicious food. Not to cheap but not to expensive either (excluding a few pricey dishes). We went lunchtime and sat on the decking to enjoy the view. The wife had clams, I had spag bol.

Go out of your way to eat here! The grilled sardines were amazing the oysters so fresh & the black pork chops divine. Extensive wine list with tremendous service, highly recommend!
