Nortada Beach Bar Martinhal

Simple, yet nice restaurant with fantastic beach feel. We had seabream and the fish was excellent. The cook came out and inquired how we liked it. Turned out he had some for lunch himself. I love it when the people put their money where their mouth is. Kids portions are generous too. We've been several times and the fish and seafood dishes never disappoint. And did I mention the extremely chill soundtrack? Jazzanova to Brubeck make the stay very relaxing.

P.s.: Avoid burgers and spaghetti dishes.

Sea food is just amazing (prowns with garlic 🥰🥇) : ask for the fish pescado of the day. one of the best dinner based fish ever had.

Such an original place! Right by the beach with an amazing view, the friendly staff was super welcoming! The food was really yummy and it's great value for money! 5 stars for the fried shrimps!

What a stunning location. The view of the beach is fantastic, and we really enjoyed our lunch (swordfish and prawns). We're planning to return!

Go for the garlic shrimp as a starter , stay for the freshest local fish & if you have room have a slice of the almond cake with a delicious coffee.

We visited Fortaleza de Sagres, then went to this beach for the afternoon. This place provided excellent service and personalty every time we went in for beers/drinks for the beach. At the end of the afternoon we stopped for some tapas and drinks. Excellent beach side bar and restaurant. Of all the beach pub experiences, this was one ranks #1.

It’s a lovely restaurant near seaside for families. We went there on New Year Day 2020 and the restaurant was quite packed. Still we received good service and good food. We had Piri Piri chicken and seafood spaghetti, both are beyond our expectation. We will visit there again when we go to Sagres next time 🤗

Right on the beach we visited this place more than anywhere else on our holiday..
It's a great place for lunch or dinner with a nice selection of food to keep adults and kids happy.
Prices are reasonable, service is good and would definitely recommend if you are staying in the area.

We were staying at the Martinhal resort and ventured here and were delighted to have done so. Lovely hosts and great simple set up at reasonable prices. We came two nights running and across these two nights we had whole fish (Dorade), tiger prawns and rice with shellfish special. All were delicious and well priced, the prawns expensive however but delicious. The wine is good too. If you are staying in the resort definitely venture out and enjoy something a bit more authentic.
