Fantastic fresh seafood. And lovely meat. Staff are very good. But this is a very busy restaurant. Obviously if it's busy it's good, but you will have to wait for them to cook the food that has all ready been ordered, and then cook yours. Reading some of the reviews I really do struggle to see how people could not understand that.

Large quantities, very fresh and local food. We got so much at a low price. Strongly recommended if you want a typical hidden restaurant. Prawn, fish and chicken was delicious. Not ideal for vegetarians though.. You can sit indoors and outdoors.

A really good Cataplana, we arribe there at 14:00 (the close the kitchen and restaurant on 15:00) the waiter very simpatic say to us that is not a Problem.
The service was very well and the quality price as well. One fish Cataplana 38€.

We found this restaurant based on the recommendation of our hotel.
The place opened at 7 pm for dinner and we were seated right away, with no reservation.
Soon enough it was packed.

I ordered the squid (by portion) and that came with fries.
My husband ordered the olives, bread, sardine pate, mixed grill plate (also by the portion, with about 4 pieces of huge meats, enough for at least 2 people), salad, fries, water and a soft drink. Everything was €32.
We enjoyed the food.
They accepted credit or debit card.

Delicious food. Price is correct. Friendly staffs who speak english well. We were there on sunday where many locals went to the restaurant to have meals with family and friends

Great spot for lunch in Sagres, frequented by the local tradesfolk, which is always a good sign.

Hake and salad was just the ticket and my friends ate the dish of the day.

Desserts are definitely worth a look, especially the chocolate moose.

I ve been coming here quite often while in Sagres. Prices are great for what they offer. Staff is friendly as well!

This place is really good! The staff are amazing, they all wear masks and you can see they're smiling even with the masks on.
The food was affordable and delicious. Highly recommend to come by for a meal! (If you like flan... you should definitely come around, they have homemade flan that is made by the chef himself fresh everday)

Daily fresh fish to choose before ordering. One of Sagres reference restaurant grill. Good fast service, most fare prices. Good desserts.

The Cataplana is exceptional, 100% recommended!

What a find! Simple amazing food. Super friendly staff. Carlos was our waiter the first night and he made our 3 nights of dinner fantastic. Can’t recommend them enough. True Portuguese hospitality at its best. And thank you for enabling my Cataplanas cooking dream when I get back to South Africa 😁

Amazing amazing amazing, this place is local as can be and have fresh delivery of fish while we where sitting. Lovely owners. And battered hake the best. Was looking for this in Portugal and found finaly. Just WOW

Great, authentic and reasonably priced restaurant.

I love this place! The service, the food and even the desserts were so good. Went her for dinner two times and with al their local dishes it's definitely worth a visit.

Very busy restaurant, basic but popular with locals, intresting ablution block in the center of restaurant, we shared an excellent "Catalon" check spelling. With plenty of small shellfish.(they call them clams but marine biologists would call them something else. Nevertheless still tasty.

Superb food and friendly service. Not the first time we have been there and it won't be the last. Authentic Portueguse.
