Memmo Baleeira Hotel Sagres

A friend recommended staying at Memmo. My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience staying here and the hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is prime, the hotel is stunning, the views were breathtaking and not to mention the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best we had at a hotel. We will definitely be back!

We loved our two night stay at Memmo Sagres. The staff were professional but friendly. The view was phenomenal... There was even an amazing sea view from the sauna. The breakfast was excellent, really good quality and variety.

I was part of a group of 8 that hiked the Fishermen's Trail from Porto Covo. After 9 other Hotel Stops, this final 10th new stop was a welcome site. Very modern, classy and I'd even say chic reception area had 3 representatives ready to assist with quick check in. Even though we were about an hour earlier than check in, 7 of the 8 rooms reserved were ready!
After a quick shower and change into our swimsuits we all headed to the outdoor pool. There are 2 pools, one cute smaller one inside. The sun was shining, the water a perfect temperature! We endulged in cold beverages from the pool bar and were warmly greeted and quickly served. The drinks were delicious, and we had the Falafel and Oysters Appetizers. Delicious, highly recommended!
Dinner there was delicious, Vegetable soup was very tasty, the Vegetable Lasagna was a very generous portion and amazing, Fruit cup with Gelato was the grand Finale!
My room was spectacular, the view of the Harbor and distant cliffs. Bed was so comfortable!
Everything was spotless, the bathroom shower could hold 6 people, toilet and bidet too. Wonderful rainshower!
Bottom line, you won't be disappointed.
Go and be treated well.

Great location with amazing views. Be sure to book a balcony room. Rooms: clean and bright (they have been freshly painted), 2 occasional chairs for seating, 2 small chairs on balcony, small tv, bed comfortable with crisp white cotton linens, fridge, and safe, ample closet space. Bathrooms: walk in shower with pump soap and conditioner, bar soap and pump soap and moisturizer by sink, clean and well functioning, no fan or ventilation. Breakfast: large choice of fresh and high quantity products, no items were left empty, starts at 7:30am, can get eggs made to order, hot and cold items on the buffet. Staff was polite and helpful. Property is stunning overlooking the harbour (recommend the restaurant that is at the end of harbour). Easy walking distance to town and restaurants.

I loved the Memmo hotel in Sagres. Everything was amazing.

The room was really nice, almost a small apartment with a living room and a bedroom. The hotel has a super nice pool and a great gym!

One of the thing I loved the most was the breakfast. Everything was so fresh and tasty! I cant wait to go back!

Absolutely loved staying here for two nights. The service is top notch, especially Marta on the front desk who made us feel so welcome. The location is within walking distance to 5 amazing beaches and the hotels amenities are also great.

The room with a panoramic view was absolutely stunning, complete with a small balcony that provided breathtaking vistas. Waking up to such a beautiful sight each morning was a highlight of my stay.

The daily yoga sessions, held in a gorgeous space overlooking the sea for just €10, added an extra layer of tranquility to my stay. It was a perfect way to start the day feeling refreshed and connected.

Now, let's talk about the culinary experience: The octopus risotto is a must-try; the flavors were exquisite, and it truly showcased the culinary expertise of the kitchen.

My four-night stay became a memorable exploration of the area, using the conveniently provided roller as a starting point. It made discovering the surroundings a breeze.

The thoughtful addition of beachside amenities like comfortable beach chairs and walls for added privacy made my beach days truly enjoyable. And speaking of the beach, the fact that it's just a 3-minute walk away is a fantastic bonus!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. We wanted to use Sagres as a base for exploring the area, and Memmo seemed like a decent hotel.
Wow, were we wrong. Memmo is so much more than just a decent hotel. The staff here were utterly professional and provided phenomenal service.. the service level you can expect at the better Four Seasons hotels. It was a pleasant surprise.
Another surprise was the quality of the food. The breakfast was impeccable, and the dinner was superb. The octopus risotto was the best dinner dish we had this trip.
The price of the hotel and dinner was very reasonable. 5 star experience at a 4 star price.

Stayed here with my wife while on vacation. It was our first time in Portugal and what an unforgettable experience.

The staff always greet you and are willing to help make your stay wonderful.

The manager is warm and welcoming and there are many child-friendly accommodations at the hotel.

Also my wife and I received a hand written card from this hotel to commemorate our stay - such a lovely touch
Also since we had an early check out (we had a morning flight to catch) were given breakfast to go!

Amazing time!

This hotel is the epitome of relaxation. We stayed in a garden room and I would extremely recommend it. We had a patio that led onto the balcony and it was beautiful, stunning view.

The hotel was so bright and airy. It was immaculate, the cleaning was very thorough. The hotel has many spaces to tan, chill and relax. Whether you want to stay indoor or venture outside there is something for you.

Just an FYI if you plan on using the inside pool make sure to bring a swimming cap as it’s mandatory. You can purchase one at reception for €2.50 if you do not have one.

Overall, beautiful hotel with stunning views. If you want a relaxing stay please consider visiting!!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel, the food was unbelivable and the breakfast delicious.

The staff was very nice and friendly. The pools were perfect and the view was magical.

The rooms could get a renovation, our matress was not the most comfortable one.

I definetly recomend this hotel if you need a time off to care of yourself.

Had a weekend stay here and couldn’t have asked for more.
The location has a breathtaking view. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and the hotel is well decorated and has great infrastructures.
I only think there is potential for improvement regarding access to local beaches, and the size of the swimming pool.
Other than that it is a great place for a family getaway or a weekend with friends.

Excellent location - Sagres is much cool and way less crowded than the rest of Algarve
But above all the service here is Exceptional!
During our five days stay here my husband was a little sick and also was his birthday
So we were surprised in the room with cake and a champagne bottle and a hand written card
It can not get better than this

Loved this hotel. Everything was perfect, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, everyone working there was extremely friendly and helpful, the location was great and breakfast was delicious (great buffet, fresh omelettes etc., very attentive staff). We also had dinner at the hotel a couple of times, which was also really good every time. Will definitely be back!

We loved it! This hotel has the most friendly and welcoming staff, the breakfast was delicious, the view is amazing and the location perfect for going to the beach, go for a run or walk to restaurants nearby.
If I could I would give more than 5 stars.

We had a week yoga retreat, the hotel is fantastic located by the sea with stunning views.
The staff is absolutely marvelous making you feel at home.
Loads of activities around and a beautiful natural park near by.

Amazing staff and supreme dinner! We stayed in this hotel for one week and will definitely come back. Nice clean rooms, wonderful breakfast, heated indoor and outdoor pools and two saunas are included in the price. I really recommend the dinner in the hotel‘s restaurant. The dishes there were amazing! Thoroughly combined ingredients and nicely presented. The staff was super friendly and attentive. 5/5
