Pura Vida Divehouse

I stayed here one night and it was such a refreshing stay. The hostel is so homey. There was a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, and great lounging areas. Such a lovely stay, I recommend anyone to come here.

This is one of the best dive Center ever. Ricky,our dive leader, was so chilled out and amazing. He explained in details what we were about to do. He was all about safety! He was very methodical and very clear. He kept checking on us all the time that we were fine, and equalising ok! He was also very organised and patient. Genuine care and attention the whole time. We went to cathedral for our second dive and got to see an octopus and massive crab in the cave. Just beautiful. But the experiment was made better with the presence of Ricky and Yana (with her calming tips for underwater unease . Seriously one of our fav dives. Thank you so much!

I had an amazing experience with the Brazilian dive instructor. I hadn’t dived since I was a child and was scared because it was a bad experience. She was a very kind, clear and patient instructor who helped me overcome my fear and made me confident about giving it a go again. Sorry I have forgotten your name. Thanks so much Rick

Took the Open Water Course. Amazing experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Ana, our instructor, teaches very well and is very patient.

We missed the place while waiting for our cab. I wish I had a couple of days more!

I have no words to describe how incredible this experience was... We owe a huge thank you to Damian, our instructor, as well as everyone at the Puravida Divehouse. Everyone was so welcoming and there was such a concern with our safety that we couldn't help but feel safe! We didn't stay in the guest house but I 100% recommend going for the scuba diving experience!

My instructor Ana was god sent! As a beginner diver with water anxiety, I never dreamt I could make this happen. But thanks to Ana‘s great guidance, nothing is impossible. :) This place is a must for beginners like me because the team is very patient and kind in teaching. I m definitely coming back !!

We had a fantastic experience diving at the Pura Vida Divehouse!

Chris and Leo were friendly, welcoming and very professional. It was my first diving experience and it felt safe and throughout. My friend with more diving experience also had a great time. It was beyond both of our expectations. We both truly recommend this diving school!

I spent a wonderful 4 nights/3 days staying at Puravida and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Sagres. The accommodation was clean, quaint and comfortable. The hosts Cam and Kiara were super friendly and made me feel very welcome as a solo traveller.

With regard to the diving, I used the 6 dive package and wish I had time for more. I would definitely have extended my stay if I could have! IThe diving around Sagres is fantastic with lots of life - octopus, beautiful nudis, crustaceans and fish etc. However, it is the lovely underwater landscapes that really made this place special and interesting for me. The caverns and caves are great to explore - huge thanks to Cris for the incredible dive he guided on my first day. As a (somewhat) experienced diver with 100+ dives, this was of my top 5 dives ever, for sure.

The dive team at Puravida are very professional and thorough. Most of my dives were led by instructor Damian who was excellent, as was Dive Master Trainee, Ricciardo. Both Damian and Ricky took care to look after their divers and ensure we had the best time possible and communication in English (and Spanish) was perfect.

Thank you Cris and team for a lovely stay in Sagres, hopefully I can see you all underwater again someday.

A quiet and peaceful place with friendly and helpful staff. A great place to stop if you want to chill out, go for some nice walks and experience Sagres at the end of the world.

We took a room with a private bathroom, and it was comfortable, clean and spacious enough for our luggage. The dives with Cristóvão were excellent! Besides being a great guide, he was a fun person to spend time with, and really took the time to cater to our underwater interests, not rushing us through the dive sites, allowing us to photograph everything, and finding an incredible amount of nudibranch species on two great dive sites. We will surely return!!

I've just spent 8 days there and it's a fantastic place! It's beautiful, cosy, very well located and perfect to relax. The staff is very nice and Joana was very helpful and kind. I really felt like home and I already want to go back :).

Loved the Vibe and Decor. Staff is super helpfull. Location is great! We just needed to dress our wetsuits and walk to Martinhal Beach for a good surf session. Will be back for sure. :)

I relied on Pura Vida for my Advanced Open Water. Really enjoyable experience with very nice and well prepared instructors. Despite the difficult weather conditions i had a great time. Highly recommended!

Nice place. If you would like to feel the vibe ask to be placed in the main (older) house while if you prefer to stay in a "less lived" and new environment go for the new apartments they have across the street

You will have a trouble deciding what's better - accommodation or scuba diving. Cris is a lovely host and house has got such a positive vibe.

Can’t thank Chris & his team enough for taking our 14 year son and giving him such professional SCUBA diving tuition, the dedication, effort and patience provided was hugely appreciated & we are all thrilled that our son passed his SSI Diving Qualification. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I had a great stay in their dorm rooms. Lovely people and a great atmosphere! Don't hesitate, just go.

A guesthouse like you would to stay. Clean, friendly, nice ambiente. I think its a real cool place if you like the sun, sea, surf.
