Best and most reasonably priced fish restaurant I’ve ever tried.
Simple setup, no bookings but you put your name on the blackboard and wait. Or come just around the time of opening and you’ll get a table immediately.
The fish is cooked to perfection and it keeps coming, until you tap out!
The wine is also reasonably priced and very tasty.
If you like fish, this is a restaurant you must try.

Fantastic grilled fish. Chopo(cuttlefish) was perfectly prepared as were the potatoes and salad. With a glass of wine, the total was 15 euros. Bravo!
Have patience and immerse yourself in the moment. Many people think this is the best grilled fish 🐟 in Tavira.

Superbly cooked fish grill, as much as you want. Salad, olives and bread to start and a fresh fruit basket selection for dessert. Amazing value. Will definitely go again.

Wow! What a deal! All you can eat fresh grilled fish with salad and fruits for 11 per person! They are delicious! We were served the dourada and sea bass. The restaurant was full even at 2. So the servers may take a little longer to serve but they are very friendly. You have to contend w flies though. Sitting inside may help. Victor is the owner and this has been their family business for 40 years.

They open for lunch and dinner from June to Aug. And the rest of the year for lunch only. Google is not always accurate. Best to call if you are visiting from out of town.

My favorite fish restaurant. Very simple: they just offer excellent mixed fish. Come early, otherwise you will have to wait in a long row as usual.

Amazing seafood! You can get day catch fishes and other seafood (this is why not all their fishes on their menu are available every day). If you want to taste a great grill seafood, in a no fancy restaurant, this is where you should go in Tavira. Staff were so welcoming and fast.
We ordered Sardina and Robalo, and it was so good.
The boiled potato with olive oil and salt is the best :D

Great fresh fish with a unique atmosphere. Every year when I go the Algarve this is a must stop. Queues are impressive if you don't come 15 minutes before the place opens, so make sure to go in time!

A terrace full of tables, and a massive charcoal grill. They will be grilling fresh fish non-stop til they run out of fish.. or people. it doesn't get more portuguese than this!

There's no menu here. they only serve what kind of fish they bought in the fish market that day. You sit, and two minutes later comes a basket of bread, olives, salad, and boiled potatoes with skin. Two minutes after that, the first batch of fish arrives. Sometimes they ask you what kind of fish do you prefer, sometimes they just bring whatever is ready in the grill. Each customer gets 2 servings of a very generous amount of fish.

The cherry on top are the slices of bread they grill alongside the fish. They brush the slices with a concoction of pepper and olive oil (and probably something else), then they let it slightly toast. The bread will get the smoky flavour form the charcoal, an even a hint of grilled fish. It tastes insanely good. My stomach may be bursting, there's no more buttons left on my trousers to unbutton, but I still beg for a another slice!

In the end, they bring a basket full of fruit for your table. If you can still eat, that is. Truly is a feast, and for an unbelievably cheap price.

They don't take reservations. If there's no tables available when you arrive, there's a black board at the entrance where you write your name and number of people, and just wait. They have also a small room inside, but it gets really hot in the summer. It's way better outside, anyways.

Pro tip: be prepared for mosquitoes, they'll be trying to have a meal too.

This is an all round amazing experience. You need to go early to put your name on a blackboard (we went at 11:30) then you get called one by one. The fish is cooked on a bbq in front of you, they will you what they have without you ordering. Everything is simple but very tasty. And it’s only 15 euros per person. Highly recommend!

Realize that this place only serves grilled fish. But what you get is high quality. Seems to always be a wait but welll worth it

Today, i met Super Man. He actually does not fly around saving people. He grills fish. Nothing else. And he is best at it. Look at the blisters on the skin. Crispy outside and juicy inside. Michelin star killer. Super, man!

Spectacular dinner with the freshest barbecued fish, accompanied with bread, potatoes and salad. "All you can eat" style except the waiters bring trays of fish to you. Great atmosphere and excellent prices, will definitely return next time we visit.

Amazing food - one of the best fish meals I have ever eaten! Fresh sea bream and seabass cooked on the coal grill before your very eyes, accompanied with potoatoes and salad plus bread and olives. Welcomming with a viIbrant atmosphere where all staff were friendly. Plenty of locals which shows the restuarant has the upmost repesct. Recommend highly!

Friends took us here. First of all, you write your name on a board, it's first come first served. Then, there's no need to order. They bring plates loaded with grilled fish, potatoes, salad, and some seasoned bread slices. It was a new experience eating fish like this.

Not the fanciest of places but there's a reason why it's always packed during the summer. All the grilled fish you can eat, really fresh and at a really great price. Been there three times already and don't have any negative to point out. Recommended.

I would say it’s the best fish place in town! You have only one option on the menu - but you don’t need anything else if you are for a good grilled fish. Somebody is complaining about overgrilled and overturned fish, but me on the contrary like that crusty crispy taste. And inside - juicy unbelievably tasty fish! Love this place! Don’t be late - they open at 12:00 and 12:10 is a queue already. No bookings allowed. Just come, sit and enjoy your food!
