4 Plátanos Café Restaurante

We saved this for our last night out on the island and weren't disappointed. The views are really nice, and the food didn't disappoint. Everything was really good, but there were two things worth an additional mention. First, the octopus salad was delicious, and it is absolutely huge. I ate most of ours by myself -- with a little help from my wife -- but it's easily enough for four people. Second, the wine was the best we had on the trip; I wish we had tried this much earlier, and we would have had it often.

Finally, we enjoyed visiting with the server from Canada after our meal -- didn't catch her name. It was fun to share notes and get perspective from someone who moved to the islands.

The food was excellent. Everything that was ordered between 5 people was delicious. We sat on the upper floor, and the view was incredible. I would highly recommend 4 Platanos

Great place for lunch in early February. Walked right in for a table next to the window over looking the ocean around noon on a weekday. Recommend Pineapple Pork and Steak.

I was looking for a spot with great views and great food -- 4 platanos fully delivered! Ordered a soup of the day, the octopus salad, and just had to get fries too. Even though I always feel guilty eating octopus (they're such bright and sentient beings), my shame couldn't stop me from coming back again for the incredible octopus salad!

We had a wonderful lunch here. The cheese and jams were delicious! We ordered the red fish and sirloin. Both were delicious! The restaurant has beautiful views and everyone was super friendly!

Excellent service and food. We had a local rosé, shared 2 entrees, and each ordered out main. The fish and rice dish also looks excellent. We didn't reserve ahead, but dôme tables had. Incredible view of the coast. Parking lot plus street parking in front and on side street - easy peasy.

Beautiful location with spectacular views. The food was delicious, fresh and plentiful, even late at night, at a surprisingly good price. I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

As a local I frequently go to this restaurant close home, if you visit this place I have two main suggestions the "arroz de marisco" for two persons and the "bife à regional de lombo" but if you are on a budget "bife à regional de vazia" is almost as good.

Fabulous restaurant and a gem hidden in a plain sight! 🥇Gorgeous views, clean and bright place with friendly and attentive staff. The food was yummy, amazing steak with the sauce to die for 🤤🤤🤤 Great selection of deserts! 🍰🥮

And of course rainbow vistas made my visit feel magical 🌈🦄🪄

Beautiful views from this quiet restaurant overlooking the Ocean. Food was reasonably priced and very good. We loved the pâté, codfish and steak. Ate there twice as we loved the atmosphere, views and food . There is onsite parking for about 6 cars.

Got a table for 6 without reservation. Very attentive and friendly staff. Nice view. Food was good and in total (incl. appetizers, several drinks, coffee) at a fair price.

Wonderful food and wine, with friendly and efficient service. Generous and tasty seafood rice. Beautiful views from the restaurant and also the rooftop. Recommend booking to get a table with a view.

Excellent restaurant tucked in the northwest part of the island. The limpets and fish were delicious. The restaurant building gives beautiful views while you eat. Check out the upstairs for more private and open dining.

Delicious food with a beautiful view! My husband had the red fish and I had the steak with cream sauce. Both were amazing!

This place is just amazing! The best food and the best view! We had the fried chicken with ham and cheese...and it was perfection! The steak and fried cod were also delicious! Make reservations, you won't regret it!

A majestic modern local eatery. We ordered the "fresh fish" and it was as fresh as it gets. Fell off the bone :)

It has a nice View. The Food is good as well but not very special.
I would recommend it.
