Great food, service and atmosphere. Very nice music and very helpful staff. The menu is great and there are lots of drinks options. I ordered the fish of the day and it was amazing! Can’t wait to go back.

This was easily one of our most satisfying meals during our visit to the Azores. Festive fun atmosphere, diverse mix of clientele, friendly hospitality, excellent service. Nice selection of local foods & wines. Many things are walkable. Distances between tend to be short and nearby.

Go early or expect to queue! It’s worth the wait - for us it was the best food we had on the island.
I loved the dishes you can’t find elsewhere. Wish there’s been more of us so we could have Ordered a bigger selection of dishes.

The food was super tasty! We loved the fish of the day, the local fresh cheese, the Lampas Grelhadas, the Gambas a la Bart, the Caldo Verde soup with chorizo and the Grilled Sesame Tuna.

Was in the Azores, ponta Delgada, with my best friend on vacation. Our tour guide recommended grabbing dinner here and sharing a bunch of items. It was wonderful!! The staff here make you feel very welcome and even catch themselves singing/enjoying the evening with you! They spoke English and were very kind! We ordered a bunch of different items and everything was delicious (highly recommend the cheese/walnuts in a pastry and the beef stew!). The food was a great deal (very affordable) and you’ll leave full! It is a relaxed and chill atmosphere. Very suitable for groups, date night, or with the kiddos. Also the desserts are not to be missed (we had the bean tart & pineapple cake), both were great! Highly recommend you enjoy a meal here!!!

This place is the best food you can find on the island. They have great local dishes at good prices. I tried the local beer and wine. Don't miss the sausages and grilled shellfish that tastes like abalone. They also serve different grilled fish, depending on what they catch. It's all local food. This place gets busy after 8 PM so try to go early or else you’ll wait. Friendly staff will explain anything you need to know on the menu.

Go there early as there is generally a loooong queue . You can get your name on the list and come back in an hour too but finding good food and actually a table in Ponta Delgada is so hard for some reason and most places do not even let you in without reservation. A Tasca is a good one in that sence but turned out the food was really really good as well!

I def suggest the Tuna steak with sesame seeds. It is great and very filling. Deserts were also good and worth a try.

Amazing everything. As a party of 1, I was able to get into the bar with almost no wait. Everything is fresh, well-prepared, and delicious. Service was attentive, many servers helped me throughout the night. My favorite was the blood sausage, incredible how it was both crumbly and rich. And the pineapple were so sweet, delicious!

Lively atmosphere that is worth the wait. A large room with plenty of tables and great food and wine. You can wait inline with a glass of wine at the tables outside. Very reasonable for a nice venting out in Ponta Delgada.

This place is always packed no matter what time you pass by, always tons of people queuing, it's crazy. We had to wait for one hour (reservation is not possible) so we did a short walk and came back. Still a long line after one hour... We ordered a typical Portuguese starter, the tuna sesame steak and the octopus stew, all very delicious! Service was very fast and friendly! Great value for money! Well worth the wait! Just have a little patient if you want to try out this popular restaurant ;)

Best Portuguese food we had in Ponta Delgada. Affordable and delicious. We went twice during our stay. Service can be very slow and waits can be very long (1-2 hours). Worth the wait. They sell some of their food to go once dinner service starts so you can snack/ drink while you wait.

Delicious food, very generous portions and incredibly fresh choices.
It’s definitely worth the wait ( we waited an hour at peak dinner time -7pm). Nivea is such a friendly, relaxed member of the team and she’ll make the wait easier ( and has a sharp eye for estimating how long before a table becomes available).
Mario was our waiter and he was so kind and professional. Definitely recommended. We will be going back!

Sat at the bar, had dinner alone. Always a challenge in a new place. But staff was great and food and wine were too. Fantastic spot. Go early - get in line!

One of the few restaurants open in the afternoon. We took the regular soup (caldo verde), the tuna steak (catch of the day, which was tastier than the one in the menu - sesame covered one) and the arroz de pato (the arroz is not risotto, but rice; do not expect it to be creamy).

We came here 3 times during our stay in Ponta Delgada. One time at lunch, then back to dinner two times (waited 1-2hours)!! Loved all appetizers, fresh fish dishes, sangrias and people enjoyed working there!

Great moment, food is good and with good prices.
Can get quite crowded thus if you don't want to wait, come early as they do not take bookings.

Had been hearing about this place since we arrived in Sao Miguel. Definitely try to get here before 6 if you want dinner. Demand is high. And why shouldn't it be? Wait staff was amazing. So friendly and awesome personalities. Food was to die for, price was very fair for the amazing quality. Would highly recommend.
