Absolutely fantastic experience the food was amazing service fantastic the restaurant has been there 30 years and was packed with tourists and Portuguese alike. All eating tge wonderful food
If you go ask for the vinho verdi on draught its lovely fresh wine. Perfect best food we had on holiday. Typical Portuguese restaurant.

Almost walked past this restaurant, but so glad we did not. Probably the best meal we have had in Cabanas and we have eaten in a lot of the local restaurants.

From the front, this restaurant looks like an unassuming café with a few tables out front, but there is a covered courtyard behind the kitchen and grill where the chef works his wonders.

Our Robalo (sea bass) and cataplan were both perfectly cooked and generous portions. The sea bass came with tender baby broad beans, boiled potatoes and a side salad; the cataplan with chips.

Don't worry if you are not a fan of seafood, they do several meat dishes as well, including steak, eggs and chips.

We will definitely be back.

Hands down our favourite place to eat in Cabanas. I could eat their pork and clams or cataplana every day, its amazingly tasty. No need to give 24h notice like many places either. Sardines are also excellent. Staff are friendly, the guy who runs the grill is a real character too. Nice outdoor terrace as well as indoor seating. Been coming here over 10 years and the food is always delicious. I wish I could take Europa home with us.

A great place for fresh seafood and fish dishes! We will come back for the fried squid and baked sole. Too bad the sardines were finished by the time we ordered.

For those who like to eat fresh fish, these is the place! The speciality is sardines and probably they are the best of Europe! But also there are breams, anchovies, shellfish and for meat lovers there is cataplana. For dessert, I recomend a pie of figs/alfarroba and Almonds. 👌😋😋

Prawn curry was amazing!! Cataplana was delicious and sea bream perfectly cooked. Authentic Portugués homemade cooking. Highly recommend.

In my opinion, one of the better restaurants in Cabanas, excellent grilled fish, efficient service..always 100% reliable.

Very fortunate to stumble upon this restaurant. We had a fabulous lunch of grilled seabass and garlic clams. Efficient friendly service. Hope to revisit soon again.

Sardines are really the best from Europe and around. :) inner pateo great and very friendly staff. Sangria bread and red wine good.

Our first visit. Lovely rear patio area. Food excellent just so many dishes I wanted to try so got to return soon. I tried the Tuna in garlic preceeded by a prawn cocktail both superb. There was also tuna algarvian style a prawn curry and the grilled cuttlefish for my fellow diners. Excellent service by the owners too. 5*

We had 2 grilled swordfish steaks and 2 tuna steaks. One of the tuna was cooked with Garlic and the other Europa style which was cooked with peppers and onions. We all really enjoyed the food and the complimentary salad for the centre of the table really topped the meal off. The house white wine was good value and had a delicate bouquet. Someone else in our party had the half bottle of Rosè and she said it was very enjoyable.
The owner was polite and very pleasant. All in all a really nice experience. 5*

Great food . Amazing swordfish if fact never had a bad meal and I've been going here since I was 11 and I'm now 40 . Same owners who are really friendly .

We visited this restaurant 3 nights in a row back in April . Such a relaxing friendly place. The owners are very welcoming and hands on. The food portions were plentiful and every dish that we ordered was cooked to perfection and delicious.
The cream dessert and the fig tart were in a class of their own. We managed to get the recipe for the cream dessert . We've made it at home and it was spot on and tasted exactly as it did in the restaurant. Many thanks for sharing this with us. Very simple to make. Ideal for family get together as its stored in the freezer ( no cooking) and can be sliced and used when needed.
We would have gone back a fourth night but the owners were having a night off so they kindly recommended anothe restaurant nearby where they go.
