If you are looking for a good value for money buffet for lunch with local home cooking meals, this is a great place to go. The food is simple, tastes good, and fills you up. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Delicious food, good value, and in-tune helpful staff. Upstairs is a bar and a slightly more formal room for dinner, downstairs are several rooms which cater to the lunch crowd. You can order al carte for lunch, but everyone does the buffet. There was beef, goat, chicken, and three types of fish.

This was truly a great experience for my wife and I. We toured the island for 10 days. I found your spot on Google maps, and it was everything and more that was described there. Thank you very much for the welcoming hospitality and of course the great food.

Buffet for 10€, good choice of food. Drinks and deserts are extra. We had pineapple with liquor and two galao - very good. Very nice host!

That is a nice, cozy,tasty and very local place. The stuff is friendly and helpful, food is fresh and delicious, there are almost only locals eating here. Highly recommended to visit!

We found this unassuming resto on our way out of the thermal baths in Fererria and boy were we surprised! We were greeted by the chef (and the owners son-in-law Salso (sp?)). He kindly walked us through the buffet options, doing his best in English! I usually shy away from buffets, but this was really great. 3 kinds of beef, lamb, pork ribs, all stewed in a traditional sauce, baked beans, potatoes, blood pudding, fried mackerel and eel (the eel was really good too!) And a full plate of fresh salad too. All for $10 each, and it's all you can eat! Drinks and desert extra. We got a fresh made crepe, filled with ice cream and chocolate sauce on top, really really delicious! This place is a little out of the way but very much worth it! Open only 4 days a week (W/T/S/S) for lunch only. Thanks for the authentic hospitality Salso! Cheers from Canada!

Excellent food, friendly staff, excellent service! I stopped by for lunch today and I was so impressed! We walked in and were immediately greeted. We asked about lunch and we were guided to the buffet. The chef explained to us what was on the menu. It's 10 euros per person not including drinks or dessert. There were so many meat options we couldnt decide what to pick so my husband and I opted for a little of everything. Everything we tried was so flavorful and delicious! It's honestly the best food I've had during my entire trip. After lunch, the owner offered us a sample of sweet liquor...it was quite tasty. My husband and I were so impressed with this place. I highly recommend!

We visited on a Sunday in November at lunchtime… it was full of local families - good sign! We were seated immediately and a gentleman who had good English explained the buffet offerings to us. Everything was delicious and an absolute bargain at E9 each. Highly recommended.

We loved this restaurant... The food was by no means fancy, it was about as authentically good as food gets. The staff treated us like VIPs everyone of the 3 times we ate here. They treated my 3 and 1 year old like we were all relatives. If you want to experience real hospitality, this is the restaurant for you. The food is the kind of simple perfect cuisine that to me make for the best. I miss this place now 3 weeks home... Thank you O Raião

Typical food from the Island, tasty and very well cooked. The staff was amazing, kind and helpful. The place was clean and spacious. The safety is incredible no one touches the food, the staff and explains what they have and serve which customer. The price was very low for this quality of service. Thank you for our amazing service.

Great place for lunch with traditional Azorean food. The meals are served buffet style with the help of staff. The owner speaks English and helps to explain each meal (mostly meat and seafood).
