Went there for Valentines dinner , we had no reservation , and we were able to find tables outside . Fresh cod dish and shrimp Diablo were extremely tasty and fresh !

Such a cozy place in Tavira by the river. Perfect place for snacks and drinks. Service is good, English spoken ❤

Great spot for dinner. We had the grilled codfish in garlic mayonnaise batter with grilled potatoes and peppers, and the steak with pepper sauce.

Both were outstanding, the steak had so much flavour and was cooked to perfection, and the cod was perfection.

The service we received was great, our waiter made an error taking our order and forgot to put the cod through. However, as soon as he brought the steak out he apologised and had it fast tracked out in less than 5 minutes.

Great prices for great food and good sized portions. Would absolutely recommend for anyone who enjoy’s a good steak or piece of fish to give it a try.

Me and partner came here for dinner - the first proper meal we had on our holiday and it was so delicious. I had the chicken with mustard and my partner had the ribs! Hands down the best food we’ve had. We got a table around 8pm luckily - try to book a table as it gets very busy anytime after! Delicious food, great service cannot fault. Thankyou

Professional looking business, nice spot right next to the river. Good ambiance (we liked the music!), nice and kind service, tasteful food, reasonable prices. We especially liked the prawns and the lime cheesecake was amazing.

We had a lovely lunch here on the bank of the Gilão River. The fish dishes were excellent, and the cakes for dessert were superb. With a lovely view down the river, this is a perfect place to stop for lunch.

Best salad I had this year. Cocktails were perfect. And the desserts (Sweet potato cake and lemon cheesecake) AMAZING! 10/10 Definitely recommend!

Early evening meal of ceviche, vegetarian nasi gorang and oven baked octopus. Absolutely delicious. The ceviche was off the main menu, and the two mains were from the summer menu.

Delicious food, fruity sangria, amazing ambience. Worth the money you pay.

They serve a select menu of 7-10 main courses, including a few amazing sounding veggie options (not too easy to find this elsewhere). Lots of variety in the main dishes on offer and, of the five we tried, all were exquisite.

The japanese tempura and cheese and rosemary pastel starters were great, as well as the three desserts we chose (particularly the chocolate mousse).

All but one of the servers felt very welcoming (and the one was still professional) - the others were so friendly and amazing that I wouldn't take the service rating down from 5*. Didn't have to wait long to be served or for any of the courses.

For the price of the final bill, it would be near impossible to find anything this tasty, well presented, and with such a nice atmosphere (and beautiful riverside view), back in the UK. Truly fine dining at a fine price.

Called on the off chance there was a table.
But had to wait 5 minutes and then given a river side table.
Could not fault the waiter and the service.
The food started with bread carrot and cheese which was excellent followed by a very nice steak with great salad and even better potatoes.
Service from ordering and in between courses was also excellent.

Hadn't booked as it was midweek but luckily had the last available table. Staff were excellent, food superb and all very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend but best to reserve a table.

Beautiful setting for dining and lovely choice of menu to suit everybodies taste.
Had a nice cold beer and open bacon wrapped chicken breast sandwich with salad leaves and wasabi, honey and mustard dressing which cost us 23 euros for the both of us..... well yummy.

Best food we ate in Tavira, and we ate good food all week. Chicken supreme (mustard honey glazed) was so good I had it again 3 days later. My wife's veggie food was also top class both times. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices, excellent restaurant.

We stopped in for a quick drink to get out of the sun, they had a great view over the river with comfortable chairs. They have a few different beers to try (3 of the craft beers from superbock, including the IPA and the dunkel, but a refreshing change from the same 2 lagers you find in almost every other bar in the area)
