The chef is constantly providing amazing dishes. Today, I had John Dory fish, and my wife had a wonderful sea bass with spinach sauce. We will be back again next week for sure. The outdoor patio is special.

Amazing food! We got lost, and came across this restaurant by total accident (or was it fate). Service and our meal were fantastic, don't hesitate to try it out if you're here.

Food here is 1st class and very different from the normal Portuguese restaurants. Set prices depending how many courses you have. For example, my husband and I had: large bottle of water, bottle of house red wine, which was delicious. Bread & butter. Appetizer - house smoked salmon..(simply superb). Starters: mushrooms stuffed with goats cheese., quail with cheese, bacon and red currant sauce. Mains: I had the Sole fillets., husband had Duck magret. We were so full, we couldn't managed dessert. But we did have two large coffees. The total bill was 74 euros. Outstanding chef. Waitering staff polite and friendly. Highly recommend.

It was our first day ever in Portugal and our first restaurant experience there. The host was amazing and the other server was so friendly and helpful. The John Dory special was delicious. Cost for 2 meals, beer, and wine was €27.50. It was actually impossible to top that experience for the remainder of the trip. We tried to go back again but they were on winter break. Thank you for the great experience!

Top quality food. Chicken is moist and tender. Amazing.

Excellent food and generous portions. The host is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable on all the dishes and flavors. Each order comes with a bottle of house wine and water for two people. I had the Beef Entrecôte, which was succulent and flavorful. It was done slightly under than what I’m used to, but still delicious. Finished it off with a Wild Berry Pana Cotta, which was creamy. Definitely worth a visit! They have an a la carte menu and a four different set menus.

We ate here last month and I have to say the food was incredible. Not only was the menu something else but they easily catered for vegetarians and vegans. Unlike some places where dietary requirements seem an afterthought, you could tell a LOT of love went into the vegan dish. The desserts were off the scale too. Outside of the kitchen I have to give a shout out to the proprietor Pedro who, aside from being passionate about great food and being a natural on front of house, was an absolute lovely guy all round. Felt very welcome and looked after in his presence. Also don't worry about translation issues as there didn't seem to be a language he couldn't speak fluently haha.

Exceptionally good food and service. A bit pricey - but worth it.

Great food, and amazing service. They accommodated our very large party at short notice and catered to specific dietary needs. Kids had wonderful fresh food, and the grown ups had perfectly cooked meals too!

It is a shame we were only in town for one night, but consider ourselves fortunate to eat here when were here.

Easily recommend sitting here and whiling away and evening with live music, wonderful wine and a simply stunning menu and cook!

You are made to feel very special no matter how busy you are the table that matters.....fixed prices 3 courses plus Amuse Bouche, includes wine water and coffee - varied menu, excellent food and service never been dissatisfied or disappointed....go try 😋
