Small, friendly hotel in a good location. The staff is dedicated. The view from the balcony was very beautiful. The restaurant serves fresh and tasty poké bowls with local fish.

Perfect place to stay, clean, modern and fresh rooms. Nice and helpful people at reception 24/7.
In room they have conditioner, small kitchen with all necessary tools to cook, if you don’t want to cook, there is also restaurant in first floor, balcony with nice view, pool on other side..
Here is everything you need for perfect stay…. walk distance to ocean.
Parking just near to entrance, good internet speed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was incredible, and we could go out our patio to the pool. The restaurant is fantastic.
The location is far out, but it was the perfect area to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms, carpets in the halls need to be updated.
Staff ist just amazing, very helpful and fast, from the booking (we were a group of people and had to change our request multiple times) till checkout.

Fabulous location, amazing view from the balcony, nice swimming pool, amazing people who work there.
Everything was very clean, very nice smell in corridors, a very beautiful and spacious bathroom in our room, beds are comfortable, kitchen is useful, you can also buy small amounts of oil, salt, liquid for washing dishes, there is also a functioning dishwasher, they also give you towels for the pool and other towels for beaches/hot springs. Available easy parking. We really enjoyed our stay there, I think it’s the first time I’m rating the hotel with 5 stars. And again very nice stuff - everyone was very nice, smiling, helpful.
Definitely will stay here again when coming back to Sao Miguel island.

I fell in love with the island because of my stay at ANC Resort. The staff felt like family, the rooms were modern and clean, and the dinners at the on-site restaurant were absolutely delicious. Loved this place. Exceeded our expectations by far. Quiet and comfortable room with lots of space. Slept so well here. Great location for exploring other parts of the island. The staff was great and always (literally) available. Will be coming back for sure!!

We had a wonderful time and, although we had some problems with the breakfast and the room the receptionist (the ex footballer) made our trip much more fun. He planned our trip and was always willing to help us with everything. Very kind and charming person that we hope to see again soon.

My favourite place to stay in Sao Miguel - highly recommended.

There were so many favourite things about this hotel, to name a few:

A) So spacious room - and I really mean spacious. Some hotel rooms are so small that they only have room for bed making you feel really cramped - this one was far from it. Looked like a small apartment instead 🙂 Everything was nice and in white colours, fancy 😍

B) Big windows - our room was on 2nd floor and one wall was windows from floor to ceiling and wall to wall. Plus it has a small terrace looking at the garden. Loved to watch the sunset there (it has nice blinding curtains, don't worry sleepyhead)

C) Breakfast - it was one of the best we had in Sao Miguel - starting from the breakfast room until the way tables were set up (e.g how juice was brought to the table etc) - small things but made it extra special. Also the spread offered was amazing and seemed really high quality.

D) Service - starting from the reception to breakfast - thank you! You know what you're doing and to feel as welcomed - what a wonderful feeling.

This was truly a beautiful experience. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean and mountains. The staff were nice and helpful. The rooms were spacious with beautiful views

One of my favourite places to stay in Sao Miguel. A well appointed hotel with fantastic amenities in a fantastic place - Caloura. There's a small beach in a walking distance and a bigger one just a 10-minute drive away. Some great restaurants, including the one located inside the main building and the famous Bar Caloura. Everything on the island can be easily reached from here, if you have a car.

Everything was mostly ok, just little comment about breakfast when was not too much guests in hotel (it was not so rich as later)
Suggestion for hotel to not be greedy with welcome coffee capsules and provide them every day as looks like you prefer one night stand people more and it will be more nice if you will arrange breakfast in restaraunt with windows - it will make people happy for rest of day
Staff was perfect, cleaning was amazing, room super big, even huge, everything necessary inside, entrance from own patio to pool zone

ANC resort was a lovely place. I enjoyed my stat there. The views over the Atlantic from the Hotel were stunning.
