Cafe & Bar Alfredo

Nice restaurant near the main road. Amazing views of the small town, church steeple and the sea. Recommend outdoor seating for the view but you have to bear with the smokers. Clean bathroom. Friendly waiter - speaks English fluently.

This café is excellent for a break – we enjoyed delicious cakes, great coffee, and friendly service.

Seems like bar that is on the way for hunters to rest, and thanks to that it has really "movie" vibe :) like small local bar nowhere. Delicious cakes and really resonable prices. We were stopping there almost every time for coffee and some finger food when it was on the way to north part of Island 😅 Recommend!

I loved this place! Friendly and cozy. They have very good desserts! if you are into sweets like me, i can recommend highly. We did lunch as well, hamburgers were fairly enough in portion.

Happened to pass by this place on our way back from Park Terre Nostra. It was busy so we decided to stop for a light lunch. Food was really good and the salads were enormous and delicious! We had chicken, fries and salad to share at the table and it was all good. Coffee was delicious as well. Recommend stopping for a meal here. Good food and friendly service.

Good place to have a dinner. Maybe the only one which works after 10pm in this area. Tasty food, big portions, nice service, cheap prices. You can seat inside and outside.

Lovely place for a light lunch! The food was good value, the soup was delicious as was the salad and the panado no pão (breaded pork sandwich) was good too and a pretty good portion size! The cakes were nice and there was a lot of choice. The bathrooms were clean as was the restaurant so very happy overall with the value and food.

Excellent food! We had the chicken with mushroom & garlic sauce and the bitoque (steak with fried egg and sides). Delicious and very good value. There is no English menu - don't let that put you off. The best meal we had on Sao Miguel
