Beach Bar & Grill

Nice place with friendly staff and just good food. High prices for the fish witch seemed frozen and not fresh but then again, best calimaris i had since, whenever! So highs and lows but generally just fine and what you would expect.

We stopped in for a late lunch and had a delightful experience. We let our server choose our meal and he brought us a fried seafood platter with salads and fries. I told him what type of wine I liked and he had the owner choose my bottle. Fabulous service and good food. What’s not to love?

The food at Beach Bar & Grill is exceptional! Very tasty and well prepared and you can chose among many menu options. I love the service at the place, waiters are friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I highly recommend this place.

Delicious food, friendly staff. The only problem is sometimes it's way too crowded, but the staff works really hard and they're nice under all the circumstances. Portions are really big, you might want to share a meal.

Tuna sandwich was really fresh and tasty, great portion size. This was my first time trying green wine and the Casal Garcia was lovely.

My favourite place to eat on Sao Miguel. Food is perfect, service is friendly and fast. Location with great view. Prices are better than ok. I recommend this place.

Nice restaurant with a beautiful view on praia do populo. Dishes are good and the prices are very cheap. I’ve been there many times during my holidays in sao miguel because i was staying in sao roque. The staff is friendly and kind.

Amazing staff, very friendly and polite. A great meeting place

My family (husband, wife, son four years old and daughter one year old) had a really memorable dinner at Beach Bar & Grill. The wait staff was superb with our children. They went out of their way multiple times to keep the children happy and entertained. Wait staff had excellent food and wine recommendations, we loved the fresh Skate and the Shrimp and Squid skewers!

Didn't expect anything. Looked like a standard beach restaurant at first sight but as we stayed very close to it we gave it a try. And my grilled tuna steak as well as the service (and the vine from Pico) were amazing! Can absolutely recommend this place and hope you enjoy your perfectly grilled tuna steak as much as I did!

Very good food, good value and friendly people

Call ahead for the boiled dinner that is ground in the ground. I don't remember the correct name of it, but if I lived there I would have it every week. Amazing

Stopped in here a couple of times while on vacation in Ponta Delgada. Service was great, very friendly and the food was delicious!

We came here twice because we were staying upstairs but came back after we moved because of the cheap, good food. Portions are reasonable but not huge. The fresh catch of the day is generally a good choice. Their fish and chips and calamari are both well-breaded and light, more seafood than coating. Not fancy food, but easy and with a great beach view.

Realy great food. And great service. I had the grilled squid with shrimps on a split. So delicous. And the price is also very fair. Will definitly come back. recommended!

The attention and care of the waiters was impeccable, the food is amazing, the ambiance is cool too, they are so careful with the disinfection!
The only thing I would dare to say is, in my opinion, some tables aren't 6 feet (2 meters) apart from each other. Sometimes, my anxiety would attack and I started thinking about, whether or not, the people seated next to me, were infected or not... or even if I was infected... I don't want to infect anybody (obviously!)
But, overall, I will be coming back if I have the opportunity!❤
