Hostal Sauce

Great value! The room was big and clean and the reception guy was super nice and gave us many useful tips (he spoke good English beside Spanish so was very easy to communicate). The location is perfect too!

The receptionist only spoke Spanish, yet I could manage with about 6-7 years of Spanish classes. They have laundry service, and the free breakfast served in the morning consists of fresh fruit, eggs, cereal, and bread! There’s complimentary tea as well, including coca tea leaves for those that struggle with high altitude. Overall, I had a great experience staying here!

Excellent view, staff was amazing, three hostal also has private rooms and is environmentally conscious. We had an early start and they prepared a "to go" breakfast for us the night before. There is also an ATM right outside that allows you to withdraw up to 700/s for a 27/s charge.

Really great place to stay. Our friends were at another hotel down the street which was far inferior. Helpful staff, clean and peaceful. Nice bathroom. Has to be the best place in the central area of town. Easy walk to the train station and the Inca ruins.

Excellent value, generous hospitality, and an extremely comfortable stay - can’t recommend Hostal Sauce enough! Nice breakfast and tea, and the recommendation of Nina del Valle restaurant for lunch was terrific as well

Stayed here one night and loved it. The location is great, the views from windows stunning, the beds are just the right size ( some double beds are enormous!) The morning breakfast was delicious and they had actual, proper coffee 🏆 Staff very kind. One tiny suggestion for an improvement: the electrical sockets should be replaced as all are loose and it's difficult to plug anything in without it falling out.

Stayed here 3 nights, prior to walking the Inca Trail. Lovely hotel, very comfortable, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Good location too!

Comfortable placed, well located near the Plaza, and about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Excellent organic breakfast. They even made us a boxed breakfast at 4.30 am when they realised we had to catch the early train to Machu pichhu.

Probably the best hotel in the very center of Ollanataytambo. Wonderfull staff, amazing breakfast, beutifull views, very clean and nice decorated. Highly recomended.

The rooms are cozy, super spacious and the hostess is really nice and takes good care of your needs. They even packed us breakfast as we were supposed to leave early in the morning.

Great location. Reception was extremely inviting, friendly and informative. My room was spacious, clean and surprisingly quiet given the proximity of the square.

Perfect distance from the Ollantaytambo ruins. Friendly staff and in perfect walking distance from everything in town. Wonderful place to stay!

Wir sind spontan nach Ollantaytambo gefahren und haben eher zufällig dieses wunderbare Hotel gefunden. Das Hotel ist familiengeführt und vereint typische Bauweise mit gekonntem Design und Liebe fürs Detail. Das Frühstück ist grandios und die Aussicht spektakulär! Die Inhaber sind sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und haben uns viele tolle Tipps für Restaurants und Aktivitäten geben können.

Ich kann einen Aufenthalt im Sauce absolut empfehlen!

Petit hôtel familial de quelques chambres.

Nous avions pris la chambre avec double vue sur la forteresse et les autres temples sur la colline en face. Vue sur les ruines incas depuis le lit, un peu petit mais la vue est tellement magique...

Rues assez animées entre 6h et 20h.

Le petit-déjeuner est imposé : fruit frais, yaourt, céréales, pain beurre confiture. Ça manquait de salé pour moi mais en demandant j'ai pu avoir du fromage.

Le patron est à l'accueil : toujours souriant, de bon conseil sur les balades ou restaurants alentour.

El lugar tiene un encanto sin igual, desde la recepción hasta las habitaciones. Es una pena que su restaurante no esté en función por qué sería uno de los mejores de Ollantaytambo. El personal es muy amable, salí los dos días a las 5.30 am por un tour y por el tren y en ambos días me prepararon el box lunch. Repito sumamente amables, el hotel está rodeado por dos riachuelos de los que rodean el pueblo. Y tienen un cajero automático, no esperes servicio 24 horas de servicio a cuarto, no es necesario la experiencia, ubicación y amabilidad es más valiosa . Fantástico lugar!!! Bom clima!!!! Atendimento individualizado a ponto de você entrar na recepção e a atendente falar seu nome. A estrutura física é otima, o apartamento é bem cuidado. A proposta é de interação, tanto é que televisão não é participa do dia-a -dia. Fiquei hospedado em uma suíte de frentr para as ruínas de Ollantaytambo e é fantástico (veja as fotos). Vale a hospedagem.

Precioso lugar, nos dieron una habitación con vista a las ruinas, la atención por parte de todo el personal fue excelente, el desayuno estuvo muy rico y sus recomendaciones para comer fueron acertadas.

El pueblito de ollantaytambo es increíble, sus ruinas espectaculares, en el hostal super amables, nos recomendaron un tour personal que termino en cusco, muy bueno. Rico desayuno.
Solo que si buscas movimiento por las noches, no es el lugar indicado.
