Hearts Cafe

Delicious Food and a cozy atmosphere. You can see the ruins from the window seats. We ate here several times and enjoyed everything we tried. My favorite was the bean burritos and my daughter loved the grilled cheese with pesto. The salad is huge and delicious.

There are so many options for places to eat in Ollantaytambo, but few that offer healthy, locally sourced vegetarian and vegan options. Hearts Cafe is the exception. The ambiance is welcoming, the food is excellent, and as if that wasn't enough, a portion of the proceeds supports worthy projects in local communities. The menu is simple but varied. We sampled several soups and sandwiches. All were excellent. A real delight.

My husband and I stopped in Ollantaytambo after hiking the 2 day Inca Trail. We both had queasy stomachs and really needed clean/safe food to recuperate before going back to Cusco. Then we found this gem. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. We went here 5 times in 2 days. We had every meal at this restaurant. Our favorite dishes were the French toast, Spaghetti, Vegetable soup and the Honey Lemon Ginger pot of tea. You must go here! The restaurant prides themselves on using purified water to wash their vegetables. We had no GI symptoms after eating this food and we actually felt BETTER. It was miracle. The staff is lovely. They are heavily involved in giving back to community and it is very apparent. You must go!

My boyfriend and I ate here about four times throughout our stay. It is sooo yummy. Fresh veggie salads- the hearts salad was my favourite. They also have delicious coffee and cookies! Go go go!

Fantastic food. Great vegitarian variety. Everything is made without meat substitution and no soya. Great coffe and purple corn drink. All profit goes to Living Heart a nutrition project for children. Would definitely eat here again.

This was a good find in Ollytaytumbo. There were so many restaurants and we weren’t sure how to pick. We made this our local
spot and came back a couple times. The food here was excellent. We had the trout, veggie burger, and quinoa soup. I had been worried about eating raw vegetables, but their salads looked so amazing and their menu states that all veggies are washed in filtered water. The bread that came with the soup was so delicious, it tasted like cake!

Very helpful staff explained in detail what they do for the community. Was tempted to stay and help. I think they did us toast and jam with Yorkshire tea - something British. Good wholesome food, nice setting in the square/green. Ollantaytambo is a nice place - don't forget to wonder round the nearby hills and historic sites. If you can't get to the cafe donate on line

We had a long and hard day and were looking for a clean place. We weren’t disappointed. Really good food and fair prices. There is WiFi and the staff is very friendly.

Functional wifi, around 3 Mbps down (fast for Ollantaytambo). Large wrap sandwiches, very good coffee. Friendly, english-speaking staff. Power outlets by a lot of the seats.

I ordered the guacamole crispy chips. So good and the Alpaca burger was so juicy! And Pisco sour. Must try restaurant.

Awesome Peruvian food . Great combination for Vegetarian and Meat. Don't miss their home cooked Brownies and Tasty Soups

This was my favorite place to eat in ollantaytambo. Good prices, great food and nice space.
