PUB-RESTOBAR SECOND FLOOR

We had a pleasant lunch here. The menu for 15 soles (entree, main, and lemonade) was a good price to value ratio.

In all honesty, it’s a bit of a gamble … :) . We had lunch here ( daily menu for just 9 soles !!!) : quinoa soup, grilled chicken and lemonade. Great quality food and very nice relaxing ambiance. Especially if you got lucky to have window table overlooking the square.

However, in my opinion, they fell victims of their own success and struggle to cope with the amount of people they’ve attracted with low prices. While we were served timely, other people had to wait quite a while for their food.

One of my favorite restaurants while in Ollantaytambo. Went there 4 times I. Just 2 days it was so good. Their menú del día is one of the best I’ve come across and runs all day. Very affordable and a good amount of quality food. The setup is nice and the views of the Central Park from the second floor are good too. The workers are always friendly which is another reason I liked it.

I didn’t try all that much of the menu, but I can say that the lomo saltado and the trucha a la plancha are both really good.

*Good wifi too.

We stumbled upon this place while walking around Ollantaytambo on a calm Sunday night. We still had a lively time, with a great music soundtrack, extremely affordable food and drinks, and great service from a very kind and humble man! The tequeños con guacamole appetizer was incredible! and our pizza, chicken with pasta, and pisco Sours were great too! this second floor restaurant overlooks the beautiful Plaza de Armas, definitely check it out if you're in Ollantaytambo!

La entrada y la música nos llamó la atención. No había mucha gente así que no tuvimos problemas con el tiempo de espera. La comida estuvo buena y había el juego del sapito. Jugamos algunas rondas y nos divertimos mucho. Encantado regresaría. Recalcó que la musica me encantó :)

Muy bueno, accesible, económico, delicioso y limpio. El local bonito está muy bien ambientado .

Las cervezas Artesanales de lo mejor ,la vista hacia la plaza es muy bonita un ambiente acogedor.

The food was fine (we both had pizzas) but they are veeeery small for the price! If you order a small pizza it‘s more like an appetizer (see picture) The service is slow, I mean slow.

Nice view but after the coffee with milk I ordered I decided to not get anything else. It was lumpy, too lumpy as shown in pics! And tasted like warm milk, couldn't taste an ounce of coffee. They eventually brought me some more coffee to go with it so added 1*

Buen ambiente en Ollantaytambo, las pizzas estaban bien y tenían variedad de cervezas artesanales en botella. Fuimos a ver el partido y pasamos un buen rato, está cerca de la plaza, pero fue un poco desordenado y nos atendieron sin mascarilla por momentos.

Entramos porque afuera se promocionaba un menu y cuando nos sentamos resulta que no lo tenian. Tuvimos que pedir platos de la carta que eran mas caros que el menu.
Igualmente los sandwiches estuvieron riquisimos y el lugar es muy lindo.

Beware, dishonest service!
Their menu del dia costs 10 soles, the portions are small but appropriate for the price. The soup was very good. But beware. Anything else is overpriced and absolute cheat. I got a portion of french fries, was small and they asked 14 soles. Saying "it's in the carte" which we never got to begin with.
The drinks are small size. The views are lovely. We had a good experience for lunch, came back for dinner and got a cold shower because of their dishonesty.
I do not recommend. It was completely empty and now i know why. They are cheaters. Go next door, don't get your experience from travel spoilt by some cheat.

Really disappointing restaurant. Our food took ages, and when it arrived the order was wrong. Pizza sizes are tiny - the largest ('family size') is only really enough for one person. The soup had two dead flies in it. Our drinks never even arrived, despite asking multiple times.

Go somewhere else. We first waited for 10 minutes to get a menu while only 2 tables are occupied. After 10 minutes we stil got no menu so we went to the bar and asked for one. It took ages before our drink and food was actually at out table. Food is not bad, but it is really not worth waiting so long for.
