I'm Malaysian — this place is legit.
Even certified by the Malaysian govt!
Msians might notice few slight changes, but this is pretty authentic for everyone else.
Teh tarik is actually pulled, laksa is slightly spicy, char kway teow has that wok hei.

I recently dined at an authentic Malaysian gem in Amsterdam: Nyonya, it was a delightful experience. This cozy restaurant is in high demand, so reservations are a must to secure a spot. I highly recommend trying their Hainan chicken and their Stir-fried Rice Noodles with Chicken and Shrimp. A must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Malaysia in Amsterdam.

This place is run by real chinese aunties and uncles and the food was really good, it reminds me of home, Singapore!! Only a pity they don’t have teh peng (iced milk tea). The nasi lemak was my favourite dish (their nasi lemak rice was super yummy, as with their chilli!!). Roti canai/roti prata was nice too, but it came with laksa gravy instead of the usual curry (the laksa gravy was nice nonetheless 🤤)

Y’all, this is Malaysian food IN Amsterdam. It will never, ever, ever taste like it does when you’re at home (I can state this bluntly as a Malaysian), but it will tick most boxes if you have a craving. Also, don’t compare cost to produce the food in Malaysia to Holland. It’s equally unrealistic.
Food. Chicken rice. Chicken wasn’t as delicate as it would be in Asia (again, see note above), but the flavor notes were there. Some ginger sauce on the side would have been nice to have. Char koay teow had a little of that wok hei. We enjoyed the greens without sambal. And the roti was the cross between crispy and soft. The curry dipping was delicious, but a little too thin and runny for me, mostly as I suspect it is also used for the curry noodle soup base.
Space is small so make a reservation. Signs say they take cash only, but they do allow cards. Family owned and run.

The staff in this restaurant are nice and kind. Thank you. I really enjoyed everything here. *Spring rolls are great!!! But this fried rice was spicy, so be careful what you order

What a cute place! It is so authentic here that I even made new friends from fellow diner who are Malaysians! Eat authentic Malaysian food, spoke with authentic Malaysian chef, exchanged life stories, made new Malaysian friends with the other diners. The most authentic Malaysian experience!

A sweet little space with tasty food. The Malaysia tea is rich in taste and quite enjoyable. The hainanese chicken is delicious. The tender chicken with crispy fried onions cover with the sauce is so palatable!

Loved this place so much! Authentic Malysian food, very tasty Laksa and yummy noodles. They were about to close, but we convinced them to let us eat there, as we've travelled from far to try their food, that did not disappoint. This place reminded me of Kuala Lumpur. Totally hidden jam.

Small restaurant in the middle of Amsterdam with an authentic feeling and very tasty food. Everything we tried here on our 2 visits has been delicious, but the deep fried prawns have been amazing. Bonus points for offering larger sodas rather than your typical 0.2L bottles.

Not fancy at all, but the laksa and the hainanese chicken rice were bomb, portion sizes were quite generous, and price quality ratio is insane also considering it’s in the center of the city. Staff is friendly, and they suggest you pay by cash.

Went there on our first trip to Amsterdam

Amazing place

Gets a bit busy due to good taste
What I loved the most was that everything is made fresh
Will definitely recommend it

Great food ordered various dishes. The owner made us also try roti with red beans and a sweet saus.
Our feedback for the roti red beans is to leave the saus away, by itself it is sweet and good enough 😄

Deliciously spicy Malaysian food and kind helpful service! As the proprietor said, "if it's not spicy, it's not Malaysian, and we won't sell it!" Everything on the menu has numbers so no worries about trying to pronounce another language if you're shy. Their popular dishes are highlighted in red to give you a good start if you've never tried Malaysian food. And in my opinion, ignore the pictures. Looking at them I was not sure about the place, but that food was so good- the pictures definitely did not do it justice and they need to get them redone. I had the 33 with the 88, which is just the number for changing your rice to coconut rice, and the Jasmine tea which was very soothing. The one warning you might need, it comes out HOT and fresh lol blow on you're food before eating!
