Very reasonably priced place to visit in Amsterdam. There are audio tours available for free, or you can walk around yourself. From memory, there are about 21 points of interest such as rooms, artwork etc and these match to the audio tour. Also located at Dan square so it’s easy to get to or fit into a day walking around

A beautiful building and must see if you have any interest in sculpture, symbolism, history, and art. The royal family isnt so much the focus as is the stunning history of the building. I highly recommend this if you have 1-1.5 hours to spare.

Amazing Experience. The history of the building like all centers of governing tells a long story of the people and the country ! The building itself is intertwined between the Netherlands republic the French revolution and finally the Netherlands kingdom as we know it ! A must see Audio guide is a must as it gives so much perspective

The Royal Palace absolutely makes you fall in love at first sight. Beautiful marble, sophisticated style, thoughtful layout, magnificent chandeliers and history in every detail make this palace unique. There is a pleasant energy and atmosphere here. A wonderful combination of residence and museum at the same time.

So from the outside it doesn’t look like much but it was open so I went as its something I haven’t done in the city center. Inside was so much more than expected. The carvings and paintings all over this place were simply amazing. Well worth the 12 Euros to get in.

A superb palace with detailed information about all that can be found within, whether it's the paintings, sculptures, or the rooms themselves. It was quite educational too, learning quite a bit about the history of the building. I recommend seeing it if you want to learn about the history of one of the most iconic buildings of Amsterdam, found in the Dam Square (I especially loved the very first room of the palace with the statue of Atlas holding the world)

Beautiful palace! Not many people know that you can visit it easily with booking a ticket for only €12 which includes a free audio guide. I really enjoyed my visit and learned a lot from the audio guide.

A beautiful town hall turned palace located in the center of Amsterdam. If you’re interested in history, art, architecture, or just want to get to know a bit more about the city, it’s a great place to visit. The entrance fee includes an audio guide with headset that shows you around. The tour takes about 1-1.5 hours to complete. You get to see Citizen’s Hall and walk through the rooms that host visitors during state visits. Well worth a visit on your trip to Amsterdam.

Absolutely stunning. If you're into history and beautiful art, this is a must. Plan on spending at least a couple of hours, and opt for the free audio tour. They will provide headsets, but if you have a 3.5mm headset or earbuds, bring those - theirs are convenient but a little uncomfy.

Super cool, but relatively small and if you follow the audio tour, you won’t have to be there for too long

The Royal Palace is pretty neat and can be seen in 30-75 minutes, depending which audio tour you pick on your device and how many rooms you peak into. Everything looks great and has informative signs and audio, and it's cool that is still in use for official reasons. Speaking of which, make sure you check ahead for what dates and times it's open. The central hall is stunning, both the walls and floors and roof.

The Palace is the best place to see in the entire city. It's better than the Rijksmuseum or any other.

It teaches about today's monarchy and a lot about the history of the city back to when it was the city house.

Awesome! 10/10

The building looks very big ,but for the museum it's only 1 floor....very pity 😑 ..
Beatufull interior of rooms, but all of them look the same... you can see it by Pic.
1 hour and it's max that you need in this place..
My recommendations to visit 👍

The palace was built in the 17th century as a town hall. Considered as the "Eighth Wonder of the World," it struck awe into all that saw it. Today the King still receives guests here during official state visits.

You need to find time to visit the Royal Palace of Amsterdam. You get to learn an important piece of the history of Amsterdam and Europe. Enjoy the architecture of the corridors and the main Hall. The place that gave me chills was the Tribunal hall where the death sentence was pronounced the building was still a town hall. The mourning statues gather all the energy of the room.

Beautiful palace whose history I, as a Dutchman, did not even know. For the Dutchman, an absolute must-see. The audio tour is very informative, user-friendly. I found -in contrast to the opening of the king's working palace- the route not very clear.

The information on se history of the palace is great. Nice to see many rooms and to know more about the history but also how the rooms are used today.

Good thing they open this palace to the public!

Beautiful Palace. Definitely worth a visit. Tickets are needed but around 12€ you get your money's worth. And there's a free audio guide to pick up before you enter.

The Royal palace is an amazing place to visit and witness the magnificent interior, architecture and history.

They have audio tours in various languages and it’s really easy to navigate in the palace using the Audio tour guide.

The staff is friendly and helpful.

Magnificent palace in the center of Amsterdam, originally built not as a palace, but as Amsterdam's town hall. You must see it from the inside.
