What an incredible & emotional journey you go through visiting this museum. We visited Amsterdam for the day & this was the only thing we really wanted to do. Visiting in Jan was perfect as we did not pre-purchase tickets at all (which typically you have to do) & It was not busy, so you could actually absorb the intensity of the museum & not feel rushed or crowded. We arrived at 1830 & had tickets for the 1900 entrance time & we purchased at that moment online. (All purchases are online only) If you know when you will be there, definitely purchase in advance but if you're not sure & you are visiting during the off season, then you can purchase when you get around that area.
Definitely take your time walking around & make this a 'must do' if you find yourself in Amsterdam. You will not regret it. Then, go around the corner to visit the statue of Anne Frank, as seen in these photos.

A good audio tour that was easy to follow and was interesting to hear some first-hand accounts from Anne Franks father and other family friends as well as see the actual secret including original ladder & countertop. Gave a real idea of what I’d read about and cool to see her actual diary pages as well. They estimate tour takes about an hour and that was spot on - we went through all the audio tour stops and saw/read the various exhibits and were done in exactly an hour. Easy to follow and everyone directed clearly on next place to go etc. Be prepared to climb some very steep stairs.

Buy your tickets in advance, online. They sell out fast. It's definitely worth seeing and paying your respects. You get to walk all throughout the building, behind the bookshelf that hid Anne Frank and her family. They offer an audio tour at your own pace.

Amazing artifact of history that can reduce you to tears. I definitely recommend booking the tour--in advance, online--with the introductory talk. It gives you that immersive experience.

Prior to leaving on our trip to Amsterdam we purchased tickets ahead of time. We signed up for the tour and it was information and the speaker did an exceptional job of telling the history of Anne Frank, her family and helpers. Anne Frank represents the strength of a Jewis woman. Let her words last forever. Her memory is a blessing

Anne Franks House is a great place to visit if you are a fan of history or have read the Anne Frank Story. It is very sad place to visit, there is a lot of stairs to walk up and it is very steep going up to Anne franks home at the top, just something to keep in mind but it’s definitely worth it. The staff are great and very helpful.

Make sure to get your tickets before your trip. We got ours about 5 weeks before our visit. If you go, get tickets with the introduction lecture. It is about 40 minutes and is well worth the time.

This is an astonishing place and highly recommended. The story of Anne Frank is inspiring and heartbreaking. It is amazing to be in her hiding place and to read her words and hear the spoken words of her father, the only member of her family who survived, and other people who survived and knew her. It is also inspiring to see pictures and read about the people who risked their lives to support the family in hiding.

Photos are not allowed inside the house, but the museum is self-paced with headsets that are triggered in each room. We took just under 2 hours to go through. Each room explains a part of the journey the Frank family took from leaving Germany, to having to go into hiding in Amsterdam for 2 years, to being arrested and sent to the camps just as liberation was on the horizon. Very nicely done. We appreciated the opportunity to see this part history. You really must buy tickets in advance as they sell out quite quickly.

Really good museum. I think it’s worth to visit because you can have a more realistic feeling about what happened. I recommend you buy the tickets previously.

I've always wanted to see Anne Frank's House and finally got there for my 60th Birthday.
My husband and I went fir a visit at 17:30 we listened to the talk first of all.
There's a cloakroom there so you can ditch coats and bags it's free.
You can only take photos in the reception and room where we had the introduction. No photos in the house.
It was very moving and sad to see how they all lived in such a small space. Even though Otto Frank asked for no furniture in the rooms you can get a good idea of the lack of privacy they all had.
You are hereded through and there's not much time to stop.
However it was a an interesting visit highly recommend.

Definitely a must-see. Fantastically organised audio guide tour. Emotional moments of reflection on the history impact on human life.

Buy tickets in advance; even in the off season, we noticed that tickets had sold out. It's an informative and powerful experience. You get a little remote you scan at different checkpoints in the building to listen to information for the audio tour. Taking pictures isn't allowed inside, probably to keep the lines moving.

Must see while in Amsterdam. Very humbling and informative. I would recommend to anyone. Took about 90 minutes. You must buy timed tickets 6 weeks in advance. It does sell out quick because they limit the traffic through.

Unmissable experience if you are in Amsterdam. The ticket includes the entry to Anna Frank’s house and museum, you get to learn about her life and how she’s been captured and it’s incredibly to think you are walking in the same rooms where two families used to hide for years, fearing for their lives.
It is definitely something I recommend seeing because it shows a sad but important piece of history, just remember to book in advance because it’s a really popular place to visit and keep in mind that you are not allowed to take pictures inside.

Definitely recommend booking in advance and by a few weeks prior, if you want to choose from more time slots !

We booked the night before we arrived and only managed to get an evening slot, but it was still 100% worth it.

On arrival we could leave coats before getting our audio tapes, you just point the tapes at numbers on the walls, and the tapes play in conjunction with the room you're in. It went really smoothly, I could hear and see everything fine.

I would recommend going, it was amazing, insightful but also saddening ✨

You need tickets far in advance. We bought our tickets almost two months before we went on vacation, and maybe seventy percent were already taken but it's well worth it. It was very moving and so tragic.

Get tickets in advance. It is a somber experience. Incredibly informative but it is a rough experience in certain circumstances (mentally). It was full when I went but they kept things running smoothly.
Also you can’t take pictures inside which is completely understandable.

What can I say .... Very interesting but very very sad at the same time.... one of my daughters had this in history at school so we decided to take her there to see it live....Afterwards I was asked loads of questions.... it definitely left a impression. There is a Audio guide in many different languages so don't worry if you don't speak the lingo.I wish everyone a nice trip to Amsterdam and a visit in the Anna frank house.oh nearly forgot there is a beautiful little shop at the end of the tour.
