Wonderful supermarket! It was our first time at a Dutch grocery store, and we were very pleased with the selections. If you don't speak Dutch, have your Google translate handy! We bought a one month international package from our cell carrier, and the cell service is very good here in Amsterdam! Bring a bag or buy one that you can reuse.

It was a great experience to go through a European grocery store an see the difference between this store and an American one. Reminds me of a Whole Foods with about a third of the store dedicated to fresh produce and breads. We picked up a few items that we didn’t remember seeing in the US including various pickled vegetables. All in all a fun experience.

Came for a croissant, left with a fresh jug of sinaasappel. Albert knows how to do groceries!! Would recommend for an activity while in the Netherlands

As a tourist staying at a hotel nearby, this store was my go-to for breakfast and snack runs. Nice selection of items.

Very nice market, has all the food you may need. I really like the packaging for mixed nuts. You will get a very high-quality product with high standards, and package design, very functional and well presented.

It’s a big Albert Heijn with plenty of great produce. Including in-house made breads, muffins, cakes, sushi and lots more.

There are many cashiers and self checkout boxes so the checkout line is quite short even during the rush hour.

Staff speaks English and is helpful!

Great place to pick up food while in town for a few days. The premade salads are particularly good.

Found everything we needed for our weekend break

Very nice grocery store. Has a gluten free section and also some souvenir type foods and snacks to buy at a fraction of the price you would normally buy in town.

Generally everything is really good about this shop. Only annoying thing is often long line to cigarette counter. It's probably because people also buy sandwiches/coffee there + corona regulations. The owner/manager takes genuine interest in improving customers experience and shop offer, what's worth 5 star 🌟!

Bought a couple of appliance light bulbs from this AH and later discovered at home that both were missing from their packaging (they had been stolen from the store). I went back to report the issue and even though I didn't ask for the money back or a replacement because I had lost the receipt, Peter - the store manager - investigated and replaced both.

Large well stocked supermarket

A very big supermarket. For all your groceries go here. The Albert Heijn isn't the cheapest store around, but there quality is consistently good. It's also a great place to get lunch or quick dinner. They even have their own sushi bar, and I can tell you from experience that the sushi is great!
