Probably the best almond croissant I’ve ever had (loved the piped custard filling)… also excellent coffee. Friendly staff too. Thank you for brightening up my morning.

Best almond croissant I’ve had! Crispy on the outside, airy and light on the inside and the almond cream is delish! They have other things but I highly recommend you to try their almond croissant.

Pistachio crossaint is my favourite and the coffee with vegan milk is also great. Very friendly service !

A great place to grab a coffee and some pastries. They have tons of options, but don’t miss out on the almond croissant or the pistache one. The cappuccino is done well. For a bigger bite, I’d suggest looking into their sandwiches cause they’re amazing as well.

In the summer there are options to sit outside, but keep in mind it can be a busier spot during peak times.

We went for a small quick breakfast and it was delicious! In particular, the almond cookie was so soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, loved it. There was a cute dog coming out to sniff us once in a while as well. Very chill place.

This place is probably the most underrated bakery in Rotterdam. I love their croissants, which are hands down the best in town (full of depth and baked to perfection). Super consistent high quality of all the products they provide, and it is all very reasonably priced.

In Rotterdam for just a few hours, we came across Bas Bakt by chance. Lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We're vegan, so we were pleased to see they had oat milk (and soya & almond) and vegan pastries!

One of the better micro bakeries in Rotterdam. The desembread is always really good as well as the (cheese) croissants.
Must try if looking for good bread for any occasion

Lovely atmosphere and very good service. I visited Bas Bakt for a quick coffee before work and I was really satisfied by the quick pitstop: the staff is really friendly and the decor very welcoming, the friendly company dog is also a great plus.
They serve quite sour coffee, close to the taste of a decaf. I do prefer bitter coffees but it was a very nice blend.

I came here on a Monday. It is one of the few coffee spots open before 10am in the area and their coffee is excellent. I had an oat milk cappuccino and cinnamon pastry. All of their baked goods look and smell amazing. Friendly staff, good music, and a chill neighborhood vibe.

Bas Bakt is my favorite bakery in Rotterdam! It smells so good in there and their staff is very friendly. They bake everything in the bakery itself and you can see everything. So cool! Their bread is so delicious and all their pastries are truly devine! I highly do recommend their 'boterhammen' for lunch (on the pic avocado/kimchi boterham and homemade ice tea). Also available : veggie/vegan alternatives (for lunch, oat/soya milk in your coffee,...). Impossible to leave the bakery without buying bread or any other deliciousness :)

I had a kimchi toastie with a homemade iced tea. Sourdough bread might be expensive but you have to understand the amount of time and effort that it takes to bake such bread. Everything was very tasty definitely recommend it! :)

The best chocolate muffins I've ever had. They have great bread and other sweets. Their home made granola is delicious and it's also a nice place to have breakfast and sit outside when the weather is nice
