Sin Yong Wah Coffee Shop (2nd)

A Kopitiam specialised in 烧蜡 (roast chicken, roast pork, char siew etc) that served with rice & variety of local noodles - Hokkien Mee, Koay Teow Thng, Wan Tan Mee & Curry Mee.

Roast pork was crispy & fresh.

Also available was a Lemak Laksa (laksa noodle served in curry broth with pudina & fish meat) stall which operated by a different hawker, Granny Q. Must try the otak-otak berempah too.

Kopitiam was clean, brightly lit & airy.
Staff was very friendly & helpful.
The square tables are small tho, fit 4 person max.

The Lemak Laksa is outstanding.

Curry the best, roasted pork very chrispy

烧猪肉 烧鸡 烧鸭饭很好吃 尤其是油飯頂瓜瓜

nice penang curry mee. rm5. hokkien mee just rm5 with roasted pork

This coffee shop only has two stalls, char Siu and lui teh. Char Siew and Siew yok not bad but a bit too salty. Sorry no photo for this.

It’s hard to find lei teh in penang. This is the first and only place that I know. Quite nice. Also suitable for those don’t like garlic in vege.

Penang lemak laksa is decent. Roast pork rice is average. Place is smallish but well ventilated. Coffee is good.

The roast pork stall offers half a pig's head at RM10.00, unless they burnt the delicious ears. However, the much sought after part is gone by 10:00am due to hangry customers. Other parts are RM50.00/kg.

This coffee shop has climbed up my hit list for its cleanliness, airiness, and a good range of local favourites inc the unique Lemak Laksa, not curry mee ok?

Visited the new Pulau Tikus coffeeshop. Being new, it's very clean and offers a few favourite hawker food options. Food is pretty good and service is fast. It's value for money as portions are reasonably big.

A good place to have a lunch.

Not much variety food and food and drinks sell more expensive than other coffeeshops around. Visit at your own risk.

Shop consisting of multiple stall to choose. No free tissue. Toilet entry costs rm 0.50. Drinks prices are reasonable. Roast Pork cutlets are delicious costing rm 45. Beware.

Rude n terrible service from uncle (blackish n with specticle) who ask for drink order. Luckily Hokkien Prawn Mee n Western food is good but the rude attitude by the uncle definitely will stop many from revisit.
