Don’t try any of their dessert like pudding or cheese cake. Everything here is overpriced, tiny portion, and not impressing at all.
Also, they are always understaffed, 2-3 staffs need to do everything for the whole store.
One time, i just wanted to order a sofuto, but i had to wait that one single staff to cook noodles, pick oden, make coffee, microwave sausages, do cashier, then only make the sofuto for me.

Service was the usual, 1 cashier only. I seriously think the company should hire more people instead of burdening the employees.

Too many customers with only 1 counter, usually long queue.

Overall (2/5): A cold, hard, expensive stare into what has become of SEA's 'food capital'.

Food (2/5): What is oden? I mean, really...what is it? You think that's meat? Sinew at best... I cannot understand why people will queue for someone to dredge these mystery shapes out of a soup tank. It looks and smells like a dog fell in a blender.
I tried one of their 'corn dogs' when they opened: tasteless dough with rice crispies and mayonnaise. I've also had a fried chicken 'piece' and some kind of chocolate sandwich. A truly awful experience.
Their best selling item seems to be the matcha ice cream. I understand that it's very cheap and totally instagrammable but really?
If you want hot snacks, consider supporting one of Alma's local restaurants.
They gain a point for having a decent range of crisps and sweets.

Price (3/5): Most items, from Twisties to Haribo, seem to carry a slight premium. Others, like eggs, carry a huge premium.

Service (3/5): Usually very slow. But this is not really the staff's fault - the problem is the customers. The oden/hot food counter is so popular that this has basically become a mini fast-food restaurant. There are often queues and delays because someone is peering into the soup and deciding what chunks of gristle they want. Even so, there needs to be a better flow here for people stopping by.

Atmosphere (2/5): I don't understand why people come here with their families, on dates, to hang out...

A word about air-con. '16' is not the power setting, it's the target temperature. When you set 16, the aircon will blow until it reaches 16 degrees - winter. This shop gets so cold that I have seen (1) staff mopping condensation off the outside windows (2) staff leaving the doors open to warm the shop up (3) Staff in tropical country wearing jumpers. I mean...! No wonder we have global warming when you max out the air con then open the door! Its irresponsible! Just set it at about 22.
