Hi, this restaurant is quite recommend to some of you want to eat some delicious food. Atmosphere all is quite nice got some village feel and quite chill if at here. Just if you sit at some place due to it to close to village feel will got some fly there.

Picture 2 captures my first breakfast after arriving in Langkawi at the Buffalo. It's tomato-poached eggs. Well done. For customer reference, is one bottle of water and the dish together cost RM29.70. So rated in the range of RM 20-30/ per ppl

Nice seaside breakfast with awesome environment. Combine with indoor open space and outdoor seats, no Q and fast service. Food was great but expect some bugs and insects because close to natural :)

Nice and apparently a famous cafe among tourists, the food was nice unfortunately I think the iced mocha needs improvement. But overall I'm satisfied especially when they gave me a seat in front of the live band, feels like VIP 😂.
Plenty of parking outside and staff were friendly.

Nasi lemak with beef rendang was tasty. Really enjoyed the whole atmosphere & ambience of the place with the potted plants & trees. Nice set-up! Will come again to try other items on the menu.

Though we eating underneath the malay house, is pretty cooling as the waiter is so thoughtful of having fan blowing all around us.

If we ever visit Langkawi, we will definitely visit this cafe again.

A very good morning welcome from a friendly staff at Smiling Buffalo. We had a nice breakfast here before we start our day. Food here is delicious, and is standard, the atmosphere is great and chill, is kind of Malay authentic shop outlook, they serve nice breakfast with option. Service is good, staff even approach us to check what is our plan of the day, and they do suggest us few, we feel appreciate, that is really cool. Beside there is also small Malay houses hotel for rent, with small pool available.

Food taste good and instagrammable.

Great vibe, very chill place! The best thing? The desserts!! Lava cake and chia pudding were delicious.

Amazing food in a beautiful garden setting. We've been here three times during our stay, always good. The nasi lemak beef rendang is the best.

Came here for breakfast, had the nasi lemak with beef rendang and enjoyed it a lot. The sambal in particular was delicious. My son also enjoyed his mango pancakes (and I did too - luckily for me it was too big for him to finish).

Our favourite meal during our stay in Langkawi. Packed full of flavour, great portion size and excellent value for money.

Hidden place. Such an amazing café with excellent coffee / cappuccino and great food e.g. the pancakes with Mango and Coconut milk. Great! From Cenang approx. 15/20 minute walk bit it is worth it! Thx! 🙏

We truly love the coffee beans used for the latte and long black. Love the quietness while enjoying our slow morning with the lush greenery garden view.

I love the setup here - the seating area is spread out over a small compound, creating nice spaces for small groups. The food is good, but what really won me over was the atmosphere.

I came at 4pm, but if I had come earlier I would have had the pancakes/waffles/coffee.

I wish the chicken rendang was boneless for convenience's sake, but it was still solid.

Tried out Smiling Buffalo, a breakfast and lunch spot. Ordered the Big Breakfast, which, despite its name, didn't quite satisfy – average taste and not as filling as expected. The Nasi Lemak Rendang Daging had amazing sambal, but the Rendang lacked the distinctive kerisik taste. The chocolate drinks were decent. The classic atmosphere added a wonderful touch. On a positive note, the service was excellent, with the food prepared surprisingly fast.

Lovely and atmospheric place! The staff is nice and the price-quality ratio of the food is right! The place is a little bit hard to find.

Huge instagrammable cafe, 15-20 minutes ride away from Pentai Cenang beach and Langkawi airport. We decided to have breakfast here on our last day in Langkawi before heading to the airport.

We got seating outside and I was worried we would have to sit in the heat, but there are several fans around and it was quite cool eventually.

Service is a bit slow, but friendly. This is a halal cafe. We ordered the following :

1) Eggs Bennedict - Soft delightfully poached eggs with decadent Hollandaise sauce. Served with beef bacon and wholemeal toast.

2) Smoked Salmon - Smoked salmon is always a good idea. This is served with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and wholemeal bread.

3) Mocha - Good cuppa' mocha.

4) Hot chocolate - Soothing cup of hot chocolate (even though the weather was blazing hot)

Serve good food and coffee. Love the greenery surroundings.
