Scarborough Fish & Chips- Tanjung Rhu

We had dinner here twice both nights were exceptional. First night we the snow fish. Fish and chips. Perfectly cooked and delicious. Second night the barracuda, calamari and spring rolls again the food was perfect. The staff is super friendly. They are right on the beach and it is a perfect place to watch the beautiful sunset. The drinks are also very good. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

This restaurant is just IN front of the beach, Very relax when you having your lunch at here. The price is reasonable. Very nice Fish & Chips , must try. They serve the food fast also.

Set on a beautiful beach and one of the very few places locally to get alcohol. Simply divine snow fish and barramundi. Lovely staff. Bottle of wine about 70 ringgits, snow fish about 36.

Found this lovely place while visiting the beach. Decided to spend our whole afternoon here. Beach is lovely with a great view. Food and drinks were awesome. Service was fast enough. Would definitely recommend spending your afternoons or evening at this place.

Scarborough still serves up excellent Fish & Chips, considering our last visit was during our trip in 2019 and the restaurant had to go through the tough MCO period followed by the “Langkawi Travel Bubble” before entering full recovery earlier this year.

So it’s good to see that Scarborough had good patronage when we were there for lunch after our Tanjung Rhu Mangrove Tour and all of us had their popular Fish & Chips - which were still of a sizable portion with two pieces of fish as well as salad and large fries!

The location is great, we ordered starter ans main dishes,all were tasty and delicious. We had amazing food with the stunning view of the beach. Go for the snapper fish, it is very good

We loved it here. Food was good, friendly staff and the view was superb! A hidden gem as you could easily drive straight past. Do yourself a favour and make your way here. A view from our table.

A very chill place,fish & chips was fresh and nice, the view is nice when sunset, friend prawn crispy, pan fried barracuda is the best in my preference, visit Langkawi you can't miss this restaurant

Given a choice...There are only two places in Malaysia where I'd safely order a burger. My fav place in KL......and here!

This burger is a train stopper! Loaded, juicy patty, salad , cheeeeeeese, egg.....large chips!

If you live near by or just passing through...make a stop and endulge.

Oh! And their chicken schnitzel....yummms!!!

I normally come here with my family. The fish & chip was good. This round I came with my friends so we didn't order food. Just enjoy the view, sun and wind. If you want to swim, go early in the am when they open. You can swim and enjoy your fish & chip. Don't worry about drying or washing yourself. They have the water there.

What a great discovery! Just out driving and saw this wonderful spot right on the beach. Quality fish and chips. Great views to the north… ideal for the tourist wanting a quiet escape!

Brilliant fish & chips by the bay. If you're a little tired from Nasi Lemak/Campur and need your fix for good western, this place will do it.

Fish is fresh, air is fresh, this super cute place is lovely surprise, and worth the drive up north.

The beach view was mgnificent. The grilled fish was very good. Fresh fish and juicy. Good atmosphere. Nice cool breeze. The service was ok.

Lovely little place to have western food here in the island. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. We had the Snow Fish & Chips and it was awesome. I love the salad that they serve on the side too. They have malt vinegar to go with your Fish and Chips too! You get to see a clear lovely view of the beach and it’s surrounding islands while dining as well. Apologies that I didn’t get to take nice photos but here’s some pictures of the outside.

Great atmosphere (by the beach). All the fish dishes were fantastic. Portions were generous and fish was fresh. Service was excellent. Wanted masala tea but was told it was only available for lunch. To my surprise, boss was accommodating and brewed the tea just for me. Would definitely patronise again when I visit Langkawi again.

Food was good, the fish and chips is nice. We had deep fried snow fish. Chicken chop was okay. Food presentation is normal, fries are nice and thick.
Price is a little on the high end rm30+.
The view is nice during sunset, your right Infront of the beach. Environment is clean.
Parking is free across the road. Card payment is available.

Went here for the 7th time. Must go spot when I'm in langkawi. Fish and chips just so good. Pair with beer and enjoy the sea view. Service good as always.

Must try if you're in langkawi. Great food, great view. You can come in the evening to have dinner while watching the sunset. Portion is quite big, and tastes really good.
