The Week-Ended

What can I say? Probably the best accommodation I’d ever had since I’ve been traveling. The owner, Tammy, is an excellent cook - she created a new delicious breakfast every morning for 5 days and arranged a barbecue evening. Tammy also took care of the airport transfer for a small fee. She helps you with the scooter rental and has good recommendations when it comes to restaurants. You rarely meet such a kind-hearted person! The B&B itself is a peaceful oasis with a nice little pool. The rooms are stylishly furnished and everything is very clean. There are restaurants and a little shop nearby.

Fabulously clean, fun and cozy place with lots of parking space (for guest who's getting car rental). Owner is PLU friendly, reliable and damn cool. I would highly recommend this resort as it's a hidden gem for any couples who wants private space away from noise and crowd!

A hidden gem in the kampung that offers lots of privacy for guests, yet close enough to the most happening stretch of beach in Langkawi. The Weekend Langkawi comes equipped with its own swimming pool and deck chair facilities, giving us the assurance of safety for our belongings and being while sun-bathing. The comfortable, well furnished rooms and the modern bathrooms with its rain shower are a relief against the island heat after a day of galavanting around the island. Best of all, the hosts of The Weekend are nothing short of hospitable, making us feel absolutely taken care of with their attention to our comfort, welfare and safety. They are so forthcoming with information about the island, and yes, do ask them about discovery sailing lessons / cruise as one of the hosts is a certified skipper! Airport transfer is provided as part of the package. Might I also add that the breakfast is scrumptious and the Sloppy Joe's by the in-house chef (who is also the host!) served with a side of chips and drinks, are some of the factors that will lure you to sleep-in and chill, without the desire to step out of the compound. Enjoy the glorious rays of sunset from the pool and the endless stars on a clear night; while sitting in the courtyard itself. Everything you need for a relaxing, intimate, private getaway- can all be found within the 4 walls of The Weekend Langkawi. Oh, they are pet friendly too!

I loved everything about this place. Albeit the location is slightly hidden, it is a walking distance to Cenang Beach. Complimentary bicycles are available to use once you are there. The 2 rooms suite is beautifully decorated and comfortable. There's a pool and a snack bar. Every morning Tammy and Raf who runs the place prepares us mouth watering breakfast. Coffee and drinks available in the rooms. My children and i LOVE it here. This is definitely not our last time at the Weekend.

Such a lovely stay in a quiet part of Langkawi. Host was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Only tip is quite difficult to find so follow the signs and have faith, it’s worth it!!

Imagine a hidden oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of Chenang Beach yet close enough to both Chenang Beach and Pantai Tengah if you need to catch the sunset or simply feel the sea calling. Otherwise, lounge in the pool or the shaded patio in front of the rainbow coloured room door or even the garden area in front of the grub shack where you could order their Langkawi famous sloppy joes or my personal favourite shrimp burger. Other worthy mentions are the varitations of black angus burgers and vege burger. Ouuhh the empanadas are also so so good. Ouuh ouuhh and nachos too.. (all comes with quirky cool names too!)

Charming set-up, bright, clean and fresh with plenty of greens to make you green lungs out there feel in tune. The music playing in the background gives you a very chilled beach vibes that is perfect soundtrack to your afternoon siesta. The rooms are themed with everything sea-worthy with hand crafted woodwork and colourful soft furnishing.

A place with unparrareled hospitality, where the owners and everyone becomes instantenous friends and after a couple of days, feels like family. Such warmth and personal touches are pretty hard to come by these days but at The Weekend Langkawi, it feels effotless.

Truly a place like no other. Makes you feel like home away from home, only much chill and cooler ;)

Communication with Tammy (the owner) was great from the start.
We were picked up on time from the airport for a small charge. We also paid for an early check in which was easily arranged.
When we arrived we were greeted with a warm welcome and lots of tips on how to spend our stay.
We used the free bicycles to ride into town and get some lunch (lots of variety and choice).
The pool was really pleasant to spend time around with a few sun loungers and umbrellas for shade.
The rooms themselves were so comfortable and modern. Our room was really clean, as was the bathroom.
The atmosphere at the accommodation is really chill and laid back. With only 5 rooms it is peaceful and sociable.
Fresh breakfast was provided daily with a choice of tea, coffee or juice. The food was set each day and it was a pleasant surprise each morning. Some days it was cereal, yoghurt and pastries and other days more local food such as curry & roti - we loved it all.

The location was perfect for us - close enough to town on bike, ‘grab’ taxi, scooter and also nice and quiet away from the main tourist strip.
If staying here we recommend a Syrian restaurant called ‘Yasmin Restaurant’, FatCupid (which serves local food), Langkawi Kitchen (if your budget allows).

Would totally recommend this place and would stay here again for sure!

One of the most lovely places I’ve ever been to. It has a great value for money ratio, so if you are looking for a comfy place to stay in this one is for you.

Super nette Gastgeberin. Sehr persönliche, ruhige Atmosphäre. Zimmer sind auch sehr gepflegt.
