Wonderful setting, delicious food, good service, reasonable prices. Just 👌. The tapas was so tasty I start salivating just thinking about it. Definitely worth trying out and I can without hesitation recommend the place. Book in advance if you can.

Best place in Langkawi for a sunset dinner. We have also eaten here for lunch. Food is amazing. Staff are fantastic. Feels like a lovely family run business. Always busy so make sure you book in! You can watch the sunset, boats coming and going and planes landing and taking off over you. You might even see Susi the puppy who is always happy to see you.

The food was good, especially the beef brisket that I ordered which was very tender and juicy! I was initially suprised though as the portion for the dishes looked small due to the size of the plates but i think it was just nice.

The ambience was nice, especially the seaside view with the sunset which was magnificent. The night concept with the artificial candles were a nice touch but the overall lighting was still a bit dark. Would be nice if they can install some warm yellow/orange lights to give a more cozy night experience.

Very friendly staff and the owner came to check on us when leaving to make sure the dinner was good.

Overall, a great dinner experience!

Loved the style and flavours of the cooking. Host and staff were welcoming and friendly. Food was served without too much wait. We reached at 8pm and even though we went past the closing time, no one pressured us to leave. (Bonus points). For the price paid, it was worth every penny, with generous portions. We ordered the set for two, and we found the cured barracuda, butterflied sardines and pita with hummus to be really yummy! Critically speaking, some food were a tad too salty and oily (otherwise it would be perfect!) Otherwise, one of the best food we had in Langkawi. Good place for food :)

This summarized my Part 1 trip to Langkawi.

Our last night in Langkawi and by this time the young ones were already tired of seafood 🤣 since I'd bought a bottle of Craggy Range Sophia 2011 from Liquid Village, I decided to find a place to drink it together with good food and preferably good view.

Tapaz Langkawi fit the bill of my requirement - it was almost dark when I reached Tubotel where this Mediterranean restaurant is located via a stretch of sandy road. We were seated at a table facing the sea and was in time to catch the sunset.

◾Langkawi Buffalo Mozzarella with cherry tomatoes and basil pesto for our dinner to a rousing start
◾Baked ratatouille & feta
◾Sweet potato fries
◾3 pieces mild fried chicken wings
◾Prawn bisque was served with deep fried prawns submerged in the orange-ish coloured soup
◾Slow braised lamb shoulder proved to be worthy pairing with our NZ's Bordeaux blend wine that evening - presented beautifully on top of deep fried potato on a bed of delicious brown gravy.
◾Boneless sardines with capers & onions
◾Finale - seafood & vegetable paella (available in single or double portion)

Tapaz is a great choice for those who love tapas - probably the best place for these small plates plus some sharing food - in Langkawi.

Our last meal in Langkawi was at Tapaz - a perfect end to a wonderful trip.

The setting at the restaurant is just magnificent. On the water and the perfect place to watch the sunset.

Service was fab and the food and cocktails were absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend the grilled zucchini and garlic prawns!

Wonderful relaxing place for some delicious seafood and tapas! The prawns were truly amazing! The view takes it to another level! The pet dog that made themselves at home with us also adds a vibe I love!

Visited a restaurant with stunning views of sunset. The food, particularly the fish and chips with delightful tartar sauce, was tasty and reasonably priced. Enjoyed the creme brulee, though the sugar layer was a bit thick for my liking. The beverages were good, and the service was impressive. Overall, a positive dining experience.

Our 2nd visit ,exceeded my expectation.
The service was very good, both occasions. However our food choice was likely the best tasting dishes I've had.
Consisting of-:
Mediterranean salad- good size
Eggplant with lemon - olive oil
Patatas bravas, great portion
Ratatouille with feta
Braised beef in sauce.
Added to our two drinks each at sunset
It was perfect, and I'd fully recommend.
At an approximate cost of £22 gbp.inc service.
It may seem high locally but for tourists a decent price for such tasty tapas.
Well worth the short distance to travel from Central cenang.
My photo doesn't do justice.

It’s a perfect place to eat light and high quality food. I even order barracuda dish twice because it was very tasty.

Delicious tapas menu. Grilled prawns in garlic butter are just perfect, and the pita bread with sauces. Highly recommended.

Had bread with a fish base dip. It was really yummy! My friend had pasta and was happy about it.
Had a light meal so spent less than I would for a dinner here.

Came here for the restaurant's 19th anniversary event. Alex is the restaurant owner and comes from a family of restauranteurs. He had a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur before establishing Tapaz in Langkawi. The restaurant's food is excellent. Also the view is excellent. Highly recommended.

Dropped by for late lunch around 2-3pm.

Ambience was gorgeous, probably spectacular during sunset.
Food was good. Price is higher but ambience makes it worth it and quality of food was fresh.

We ordered the fried squid with pimento aioli, sweet potato & fish croquette (didnt feel much fish, probably because potatoes are denser), sumac potatoes (so yummy! Sumac really came through, not just a sprinkle) and grilled barracuda with vinaigrette (came with tomatoes & onions, this dish was refreshingly good. Only wish the skin was crispier).

Owner was friendly too!

Its a hidden gem in Langkawi, the food there was very tasty, we tried the paella, garlic and butter shrimps they were really tasty and amazing, mussels and seafood soup they were okay but not that great, you can enjoy the sunset there but expect crowds so its better to reserve, the only downside is that food took so long to prepare

This was our last meal in Langkawi and I am happy to say it was the best. Service was friendly and efficient. Drinks were spot on and the food consistenting of Garlic Prawns, Mozzarella and Pesto with Thyme Bread, Fried Camembert with Mango Chutney, was on a par with some of the best Tapas restaurants we have been to. Add to that a nice sunset view and we couldn't have asked for much more.
