Interesting first time horse-riding experience! Chose the 1hr Jungle and Beach ride. There were horse trainers guiding the horses throughout the journey for us beginners. A few mosquito bites (definitely wear long pants and mosquito repellent) but an enjoyable and relaxing ride!

Thank you Island Horses for an unforgettable ride! The horses were absolutely great and it’s very clear that they are extremely well looked after! We loved going through the water and cantering along the white beach. Our guide, Sayed was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for a nicer person. Absolute 5 stars!

My 11 years old daughter went for a jungle and beach ride. She doesn't speak English so the instructor used Google translator to communicate with her in our language, Finnish. We parents even got a ride to the beach where we could watch our daughter to ride a horse. We got from the instructor many good pictures and videos showing our daughter riding a horse. All the staff were really helpful and there was a good atmosphere at the stable. We even got discount from the ride. The horse was really nice and easy to work with. I highly recommend this place!

The trail rides are the very reason I booked a flight to Langkawi, and Island Horses did not disappoint one bit! Do note that they may take a while to reply on WhatsApp, that being said, you can buzz them again (of course try not to spam).

I did both the 2hr jungle, beach, lighthouse & 3hr kampung rides on separate days, and I’m so happy I did. I got to canter more than I’ve ever had.

My trails were led by Sayat, who’s really friendly and assisted by a few other friends from the stables along the way for the longer trail. I got tips on how to improve my canter during the trail and it helped me feel more calm in the saddle.

Also, they will endeavour to take lots of videos and photos of you with their phones so don’t worry about missed memories. And if you need a video of you cantering to apply for another riding holiday, you’ll have one. They capture great moments and angles.

If you’re a beginner looking to try horse riding, I suggest you start with the shortest trail. Don’t be afraid because the horses I’ve gotten were really patient and calm. And you will be well taken care of by the trail guide(s).

I feel inspired to ride again, after 1 year of a break, and I can’t wait to visit Island Horses again.

Immaculate barns and very healthy and happy good quality horses here. We did the 2 hour jungle beach and lighthouse ride and it was unique to anything I had done in all my time riding. The views were beautiful, our guide was very friendly and accommodating. We had an amazing time thank you!

It was my first experience in my life to try horse ride.Unbelievably interesting.After 20 minutes walk through jungle, suddenly we encountered marvelous blue sky. This could not experience in Japan. I strongly recommend all people to spend non daily life here during your holidays.

The hike was incredible, 10/10. Horses are very well taken care and my guide sayat was very nice. Super recommended if you are looking for a different way of exploring the island or you love spending time with horses!

This place was a fantastic experience. We got the 1.5 hour tour across the jungle and beach. Our guide Mahathir was such a great person to ride alongside with. We got to practice with our horses and by the end of the journey you create a bond with the horse. We fed them at the end too.

I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice experience with riding horses.

To be honest, i really had so much fun. Even tho i dont have any basic riding knowledge, the trail guider Zaim help me alot, thankss! The owner Abu is so kind and both of them make this outride experience unforgettable. The view was spectacular and of course we take a lot of pictures for the gram. The stable is so clean and all the horses well pampered. Me and my friend were really happy and satisfied ! Not to forget Mr Sayyat. Overall, thank you for the kind hospitality and i will defo come back !

Had a wonderful time! The staff were so friendly - they even opened on a public holiday just to take our group out. The horses were beautiful and the staff take great care and you can tell are very proud of their horses. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Awesome place to come for horse riding and enjoy nature. Due to current covid-19 related economic impact they need our support to sustain. Overheads are high and cost of maintaining horses are very high. Hopefully this will end soon and they will be back to roaring business.

Meet and ride Malaysian-Arabian horses and other sweet breeds from South America.

Great stables close to two major hotels and with well-trained horses and accommodating staff. Experienced riders can take guide lead excursions through the jungle and along nearby beaches, beginners are lead locally. Clean and well-maintained facilities, including the bathrooms.

Prices are fair and advance booking is highly recommended.

My friend and I had the best week at Island Horses Langkawi (Jan 2023), we did the 10hr package and mostly had Trainer Abu with us. The whole team there is excellent, very welcoming, kind, patient and passionate about what they are doing.

We went for trail rides to the mountain, beaches and jungle. It was very fun and beautiful. The horses are well take care of and have beautiful temperaments, very forward and easy for a beginner to ride. The trail guides are very helpful with taking photos and videos for you and are easy to talk to, they care about your safety and that of the horses. One of the horses I was riding was slightly lame, and they quickly noticed and changed the horse. I really respect that the team does not just push the horse to do the ride if they are lame.

Will definitely be back and hopefully to try their horsemanship camps! Please support this wonderful team by visiting them! You will not regret it.

Such a good experience with them. Friendly staff and well trained horses. 👍🏻 Really enjoyed my 1.5hours ride in the jungle and at the beach. Definitely will come back for outride again!

Very great horse stable - beautiful & well trained horses! Great guidance if ur inexperienced horse rider. Great walk through the jungle and along the beach side. Beautiful surroundings (mountains, cable car and lush forest).

Excellent riding experience for the whole family! Very nice horses for the kids and adults.
Remember to bring mosquito repellant as you will be riding a rainforrest trail.

Great experience if you are in Langkawi you should give this stable a visit, should beautiful horses who are welll looked after and the staff are really nice people, if you have no experience you can get a trainer to walk with you to make your experience better an feel more comfortable.
