Views of the wide open paddi fields and mountains were spectacular. The surrounding is clean and the family room is ample and spacious even for a party of 3 adults.
Cenang Beach and Langkawi Airport is a short drive away which is a plus. Staff on site are helpful and able to assist with transportation arrangements

Such a beautiful and lovely place in the middle of nature where you can truly recharge your batteries. 🍃 The rooms are very comfortable and the hospitality of the owners is outstanding! They are very attentive and helpful with any inquiries or questions you have which makes you truly feel at home. We loved our stay here and would be back for sure 😍

Love this place. Surrounded by paddy fields n able to watch cows grazing the field every evening. Host is a couple, friendly n nice. Breakfast is provided n they were just tapao-ed fr outside such as packed kuehs, nasi lemak, meehoon n roti canai. U make ur own drink.

Room wise is spacious although position of the electric points r high where the kettle cable can't reach. Need to relocate. Best to get rooms where the side of the wall is not facing West as it can be very hot durinh the day.

Location wise is away fr Cenang town but still quite near if u hv a car.

Beautiful, quiet and serene place to stay when on holiday at Langkawi. The view of the paddy fields and the calmness contributes greatly to the satisfaction of a holiday. Comfortable, clean rooms and great bed - fell asleep immediately after a long day. Hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is great as well. Especially enjoyed the little host, Dex’s company. Will look forward to visiting again!

Great place for a solo or small family vacation . They have a hydroponic grow room and situated near the paddy fields. Serene and peaceful at the same time. Easy road access in a kampung area.
Prices are average.

Lovely, serene location and clean, spacious rooms. Good if you want to chill and take in the mountain views. Around 10-15 mins by grab taxi to the main pantai Cenang area. Grabs are easy way to get around. If you intend to swim at the beach, this may not be your best choice for you. The host and staff are friendly, helpful and felt safe and relaxed here. Breakfast ranged from roti canai, toast, nasi lemak to beehoon.

Great experience, highly recommended. Location not far from the airport and the view is superb. Room size(forgotten to take pictures of it) is considerably huge and the bathroom is just cherry on top. Host and staff are very friendly, just wonderful experience overall.

Our family enjoyed the stay. Beautiful experience with awesome natural greenery fields n mountains. Rooms are clean n adequately furnished.
Delicious local breakfast or English style with continuous flow of coffee/tea to your full content.

Amazing 3 days/2nights stay at Halcyon-days-Langkawi.
Excellent host, good location, quiet surrounding, clean and spacious room.
Great view of the mountains, sunrise, sunset, green paddy field, and the cloudless night sky dotted with stars.
Enjoyed the fresh air while doing morning exercises. Not forgetting the fresh clean vegetables grown right on the property and beautiful seafood BBQ, it is not just a feast for the tummy, but for the soul too!
Strongly recommended for vacation.

Lovely couple running the resort with the aim to give the serenity & homely feeling to all guest. Rooms are clean & spacious. Breakfast is wonderful with organically grown veg and fish coming soon. Near to Chenang beach without the hustle. Wonderful view of sunrise & sunset. Definitely a value for money deal :)

Halcyon Days, Langkawi’s unique charm, is the serenity and tranquility offered by the surrounding paddy fields. The white noise of the city fades away as you step past their iron gate.

Here, you will find yourself gently caress by the breeze carrying the scent of fresh cut grass, as you breathe in the green landscape. In the middle of the paddy fields, white Egrets glide their way to rest on the shoulders of the lazy buffalos. One can only flow with the rhythm of this slow, paddy life.

The owners themselves are quiet, respectful and passionate about sharing life stories. This is their retirement dream come true as we discovered over a simple local breakfast.

They build the chalets with higher roofs, giving guests the sense of spaciousness and allowing rooms to stay cool in the tropical island sun.

And if you have the time, Ben will be happy to give guests a quick tour of their hydroponic vegetables project. Lesson are available too.

We fall in love when we see the place - the location can't be beat! We had a spacious room with beautiful views and wonderful service and hospitality from the staff. Easy to travel in everyplace from the chalet as its the nearest to every place we want to go . We will definitely plan a return stay on our next visit and recommend to our friends & family too! The Shathis Narayan family stayed here for 5 days/4 nights. Room price, environment, staff, breakfast overall was an amazing experience. Actually, my wife wants to stay there because of the environment. After I was convinced she followed me. I will definitely be back there with my family members a.s.a.p.

Hosts are very friendly and hospitable. I was passed out and woke up at midnight without food and when he saw me he offered me foods by cooking.

Room is clean, air conditioned with atmosphere and build of a room in any quality hotel. Common area is open air with a big tv and 8 seating tables. Eventhough it is open area with paddy fields, there was no mosquito bites in my 3 hour of watching netflix there

If you are looking for a place to rest, this is it! Brings me back to my care free days when I was a kid and also to my University days, where lush yellow paddy fields surrounds you. I usually need a "holiday" to recover from my holiday. This trip and stay here is truly what a holiday should be. Love it!

Halcyon is the best of both worlds if you are looking for a quiet place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but not too far from Cenang Beach.
It is roughly 5 minutes drive to Cenang which means you aren't far from all the good stuff there.
Service is nice, there is breakfast offered and the ambience is relaxing as it is located beside paddy fields. So it really helps you clear your mind.
Overall: 9/10

Beautiful scenery. Spacious n clean room. Helpful host. Good location. What else could you ask for? Great value for money.
