Kawah Padi Garden Villa Langkawi

I’ve been traveling Asia for a couple months now and have experienced the best and the worst hostels. This by far is my favorite! Mr Mun is a wonderful soul that runs the place! Best to get away from the crowds and experience peace and serenity. Love ya Mr Mun! Definitely give this magical place a try!

Our stay at Kawah Padi Garden Villa was great! We stayed here for one week and really enjoyed ist. Mun, the owner of the location, is so kind. He is doing everything for his guests and he tries to make the stay for every guest perfect. He has many stories to tell and you can have interesting conversations with him.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. You have a AC and a fan in the room. There is also a small outdoor kitchen for cooking.

Additionally they are near finished the pool! This will be a big plus in the future. Mun has also further plans with the small bar / restaurant. He is always improving this beautiful place.

It's a silent and nature area. But you are by scooter in 15-20 minutes at the most of the tourist attractions or in the tourist center. It's perfectly located for different activities.

We would definitely stay again here, if we come back to Langkawi.

I cannot explain how much I felt “at home” in this place. Mun treated me like a brother and the whole environment was welcoming. When I travel I’d like to spend time with local in comfortable places and I think I succeeded in that by staying here. Any time I needed something, Mun was there to provide that to me. Location is top since is out of the crowds and tourism, immerse in the green of a valley, where sunsets and sunrise are magic. There are also some restaurants nearby reachable by walking. But in any case, bicycles are available for free to go around. Thanks Mun, see you again for sure ☀🫶🏻

I definitely recommend this place those guest whom need a quiet, privacy and calm environment, out of busy area. The room was very comfortable and cozy. Well maintained clean and hygienic. Very friendly and supportive staff. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful, a good retreat place for me and my family.

I love it here!although its not nearby the Chenang beach, it is the hidden gem in langkawi island, nearby Makam Mahsuri. Every morning have a beautiful sunrise by the paddy field. Nice, cold breezy during the night. Recommended to those who love private, calm relaxing vacation. And got cute cats accompany me during the stay.

New clean rooms/houses with good AC and hot showers! The home stay is located in a lovely rice field whits makes it quiet and very relaxing. Some Saturdays they offer a lovely barbecue evening with good food, live music and a nice bar where you can buy chilled beers and drinks. Good place for watching birds.

The owner is a super cool guy. Great coffee at the place as well as comfortable rooms. Langkawi is a great place for tour scooter rides. Beautiful waterfalls. We will come here again hopefully :-)

My favorite place to stay on the island. Quiet, good vibes, friendly atmosphere, great coffee and really peaceful to sleep at night . Can't recommend it enough. Mun also makes sure everyone is comfortable and it feels like a home away from home. :)

Awesome accommodation with nice small villas, beautiful landscapes and great staff right in the middle of the rice fields. With a scooter or grab you are quickly everywhere, especially on the beautiful beaches and other places in the north which are much better than Cenang. So if you wanna stay away from crowded mass tourism, that’s the place to be.

Mun is an amazing host and has lots of great stories. The homestay is situated in the minndle of a big rice Padi surrounded by mountains, absolutely breathtaking!

This place is so amazing and beautiful! In a remote location but not far from local shops. The owners are awesome people who want to make sure you enjoy your experience. Highly recommended!!

I have stayed at Kawah Padi on four occasions and I never tire of the views and peaceful surroundings. My hosts Cecilia and Mun are terrific and ensure I have everything I need to enjoy both their accommodation and the island of Langkawi.

This is the best alternative to the beaches, the view of the sunset in the valley is superb, the quietness surrounding the paddy fields is worth the roughness of the trail to get here.

Really amazing place to stay at Langkawi. Owner and staff more than welcoming and they make you feel at home. Nice and comfortable rooms.

What a paradise in Langkawi! Friendly owners, great location and ambiance. You could even volunteer to stay there for free by contributing some work in the garden or build some furnitures!

Good location close To makam matsuri, mix betwen bungalow and farm... I love it
