Canton-i Restaurant @ Gurney Plaza

I first came here because the pictures looked appealing and to my surprise, all their dishes tasted very good! Out of the 5 days I stayed in the area, I came here 2 times already. So, if you’re looking for authentic HK style Chinese Dim Sum or food in general, this is the place!

Friendly helpful staff, especially when we asked for cutlery as we can’t use chopsticks! Nice comprehensive menu and delicious food which arrived promptly and staff happy to answer our questions. Would recommend

Great Cantonese food.
The 4 dishes I tried were delicious. Something tells me the rest of the menu is the same.

13 hungry folks came in and 13 satisfied happy folks left.

Good quality food, without too much salt or oil - light, clean , fresh and healthy . Only thing that could be improved would probably be the beef brisket stewed noodles that could be a bit more tender.

Kids enjoyed the food too!

The roast duck was simply yummy. 5 of us finished the whole duck after each had our own main dish.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at the restaurant. The food was delicious and it arrived fresh and hot. The hospitality was great, with the staff all polite and efficient. Overall, the restaurant was great and definetly lived to its name 10/10 definetly recommend.

The food quality is always well maintained and taste good! Loving their seasonal menu with various surprises and good food.

Quick service, highly customisable menu. The wonton soup, roadted pork belly, lemon tea are all delicious.

Large menu including pork dishes. Great place for groups. All five dishes I sampled tasted fresh and delicious. Bring your friends and sample the diversity of their offerings.

Just can't get enough of this place! 🤤 I've had the pleasure of dining here several times, and let me tell you, the food always hits the spot! From the first bite to the last, it's an explosion of flavors that never disappoints.

The food was delicious and served fresh & hot. The staff was helpful and friendly during our time in there.

We always go to this restaurant whenever we go to Penang. The food is great, the cha siu, siobak and duck are all tender and juicy. I also recommend the chong fan. Portion is generous and always leave feeling very full.
Staff is very friendly and professional.
Location is inside the Gurney Plaza mall so it is very accessible.
10/10 would recommend, especially to eat with family.

Canton-i is our first choice restaurant to go to after about half a year of MCO pandemic... They are systematic, clean and fast, no fuss type of restaurants with good selections of soups, food roasted meat and dim sums. Great for family bonding ☺ but please remember your SOP.

Absolutely delicious steam pork buns, nice dumpling soup, sweet and sour pork was also very nice, and the pork belly was very nice. Friendly staff and good value for money

Superb food and service from all your staff. Especially a lady staff on duty tonight Sat 2 Dec at 8.30pm but i dont know her name. She is warm and sincere and friendly.

Salt & pepper bean curd and fried rice are yummy🤤, sweet sour pork fillet very nice.

My family and I arrive at 6 for dinner. Waiter seated us promptly. The waiter helped us with our order. Service was fast and efficient. Food came fast. We ordered BBQ pork, fried rice yang chow, stewed fish, string beans, fried tofu. Too bad they don't have any more roast pork. Everything is delicious. Very much recommended.
