Tried these little puri puri. Interesting. All prepacked with instructions to prepare. Quite fun. The special sauce was not enough to fill half the puri. I remembered the sauce has to be filled to the brim when I ate in Pakistan.

This stall is located at the entrance of Gurney Food Hall on Level 4. It was quite a long wait (10 minutes), nothing to shout about but I must say that the presentation is pretty good.

The food is only so so as the accompanying chutney and dhall are totally inferior. The sri lankan cook is super slow and doesnt understand. They should let customers know that it is going to take a long time before payment is made not after. Either they are dumb or are doing it on purpose. The gurney management and chennai express owner should look into it. The other stalls in the food court have better service and people who understand. If we have to wait for 20 minutes thats means we are taking table for too long

Super rude Indian uncle at the counter
canai like batu curry cold when served asked to collect in 10 minutes without the timer. When at the counter he just doing his own thing like didn’t see me at there and showed a damn idiot face to customers

I was told by the lady manning the counter that the ala-carte menu is only meant for staff or vege individual. It was a shocked to me as I have bought it all this while. After which, when I mentioned it was meant for my son, then she said yes, it’s also available for children too. If it’s not available anymore, pls remove them or put a proper sign on it.
