If you wanna rent a scooter/ motorbike in Penang, this is the place! First, because it is not too pricy, second, the motorbike is in a really good shape and third because the owner of this place and his assistant is really nice and super professional. He asked us for our paper and you do have a receipt which is solid! He also explained everything. You can keep the motorbike for 24hrs straight or more. Highly recommended.

I rented my scooter on 9/22/18. The cost was 35rmb for 24hours and you had to leave a 150rmb deposit on top of that, which you get back when you return the rental. Which means, when you show up, make sure you have 185rmb with you. They give you a helmet with the scooter and it comes with a full tank of gas. You must return it with a full tank. There are two gas stations right around the corner, so it’s easy. I forgot to do this, the guy working the night shift was nice and reminded me to go do it. It’s nice because he COULD have just charged me extra.

The staff speaks English well, so I’m not sure about other reviews on here. They are friendly but protective of their investment. Don’t come at them with a bad attitude. That’s not nice.

The scooter was well maintained and worked like a charm! If you don’t scoot often, they show you how to operate the bike, turn on, blinkers, stowaway, etc.

When I come back to Penang, I’m coming here again, hands down. Great job to La Belle!

Oh, and they do have more than just Vespas. They have higher cc scooters all the way up to sport motorcycles.

Great experience hiring the kapcai (Honda ex5/dream) for a couple of days. They seem well maintained, the owner is very courteous, and it really is the most legit hire business on Chulia St. Remember to bring cash for the deposit (rm150) and an international drivers permit if you're visiting from overseas.

Professional motorbike shop with well serviced and equipped bikes. Owner went over the bike with me and explained all the obligations clearly. Came with a full tank of gas, good helmet, and ponchos. Competitive rates as well

Very good services. Just walk in & there is plenty of motorcycles to rent for a reasonable price. All the motorcycles is well maintained & in the prime condition. The owner gave full explanation & briefing regarding riding in Penang. Very satisfied.

The husband and wife owners are so, so helpful. If you're foreign, you can be sure of these folk not ripping you off. Will even offer deals on longer rents. Have access to cars for rent too.

Amazing motorbike rental place! Rented a semi automatic bike in amazing shape. Service and price were great as well. Only thing is that there is not always someone in the store, but they are available on Whatsapp and they always responded quickly. Would highly recommend!

Nice people and we had a good motor bike. It's a shame that the Vespa's were out of order but I guess that's a Covid inheritance of missing parts etc. It could be a tip for the owner to include some hair nets for the helmets (or bring your own if your fussy about your hairgiene ;-)

My best experience with motorbike rental in South East Asia! The guys managing are simply amazing. I rented motorbike from them for whole month. I had accident and then I actually understood how professional they are. After the second week I was hit by car while driving the rented bike, luckily no life danger but they took care of me, even protected me from the dishonest local who crashed in me and they took care of my injuries! Huge thank you for this! All was ok because of their instructions and requirements! I had 2 bikes for one month and they all were in perfect technical condition. Highly recommended and yes they require drivers license for motorbike because this is for your own good in case of accident! Thank you very much and I hope see you soon. Simply an example how to make business. Excellent service!

Really hospitable owner who was very diligent and welcoming. Cost us 35RM a day (which is a 24 hour period and not a calendar day, which is good!) for a Honda Spacy 110cc twist 'n' go with a 150RM cash deposit. The motorbike was in good working order and worked flawlessly over the 3 days we had it and was comfortable for 2 people on the island roads. This place is all above board and the owner is very honest and dutiful, showing us the bike and the controls and even going so far as insisting that we photograph the minor scratches already on the vehicle so there's no risk of the shop arguing you caused minor damage and keeping your deposit, something large rental outfits like Hertz or AVIS try and pull all the time. Two helmets, two rain jackets and two bottles of water are included in the rental.

You will need an international driving permit (1949 Convention for Malaysia) here along with a motorbike license (Cat. A1 or higher) back in your home country in order to rent as that's the law. Some places I've seen don't ask for one which may lead to trouble if stopped by police!

Definitely recommend!!!! :)
