Chef Wang Fusion Kitchen

Came here with a large group for a celebration and boy did Chef Wang make a superb meal! The dishes came out quickly and perfectly spaced out so that we can enjoy the food nice and slowly. Furthermore, the food was incredibly delicious with magnificent and playful plating. In this restaurant, you don’t just get delicious food, you get a fine dining experience.

The food were good a usual!
There are 4 items which impressed me a lot!
1. Platter - there's one icy vege 冰菜, I personally like it quite a lot! It's dressed with sour and a little bit of spiciness, which is very appetising!
2. Fish head soup with yam - mvp of the night! It's a very big pot of soup, we thought we couldn't finish and may need to takeaway, but we think too much, there was no soup left haha! Each of us drank 3-4 bowls, it's super nice!
3. Durian fried rice - this is something new to me haha, I personally like it a lot! Will definitely order again some other time
4. Steam white sultan fish - this is the most expensive dish of the night, it caused rm484 for a 2.2kg fish. The meat was sooooooooo tender and juicyyyy! But sadly there were many fish bones, be careful if you're eating this

The cons for this restaurant is that they were lack of staffs, so it took some time to deliver the dishes, and we had to change our own plates, scoop the soup by ourselves, but we're fine with that, it makes us feel more comfortable as well. The were limited parking spots along the restaurant, so I would suggest if you're going to this restaurant, please do a carpool, else you'll be having trouble on finding parking spots.

This is my 3rd visits to this exclusive Chinese restaurant. The foods are just great with fancy presentations. 👍

Very friendly chef and always give us the best he could.

We had a really nice dinner at Chef Wang’s. These are the dishes we had at dinner for 10 pax. Private room is available upon request. Booking can be done via WhatsApp. You can choose your dishes from the menu and build your own course. Price will be quoted according to the dishes you’ve chosen. There’s a min spend of RM100 per pax (except for children).

My favorite picks for the course:
• Shark Fin Soup with Village Chicken in Casserole
• Shredded Kataifi Crispy Prawn in Plum Sauce
• Mixed Mushrooms with Cabbage Roll

1st time visiting this place. Penang is famous of hidden bars and this is one hidden restaurant with special dishes. Not a very huge restaurant but the food and menu is so special. Almost all my family members of 28 people love the food very much. Highly recommended. Do remember to call for reservation before visiting to prevent any disappointment

Special dinner taste good and good service , will come again

Simply perfect! Thanks to the chef who still layan me in arranging my 7 course menu at 12mn thought he had been cooking for the whole day. My family had been very satisfied with the meal!

This isn’t your usual chinese restaurant cuisine as the name suggests, dishes are served individually and most enticingly, none of the dishes were served rushingly.

I enjoyed all of the dishes Chef Wang had stirred up and I would like to highlight the Leng pua, a.k.a. cold dish. Most leng pua are boring, repetitive and bland but this leng pua in the third picture is definitely a culinary wonder. Will be back for more!

First time here and woun't be the last. Nice creative dishes. Good service too.

Very boutique and unique private kitchen. Good for small private dinners. Chef Wang very attentive and food is good.

Special dishes not like ordinary restaurant. More like fine dining. Taste great too.
The only call back is the food is a little slow. Took 3 hours for a full 8 course family meal.
Advance booking is recommended.

Chinese Cuisine which one of their specialties is the Peking Duck.

It is a full course fine dining which requires RSVP. They do not receive walk-in guests and the seats are limited to only a few tables.

The food is superb.
Due to minimal staff, the service is quite slow as you need to holler them to refill the pot of tea.

Great experience , good foods and fun times with family

The food is exquisite and the dining experience is great. The price of the food well matches the quality, would highly recommend the roasted duck dish. It's my favorite by far, with the crispiest duck skin and tender meat accompanied with the fragrant smell.

Delectable and innovative Chinese cuisine

Can’t praise this restaurant enough. Chef Wang is one of the most talented Chinese cuisine chefs out there. Had my best Patin fish and Empurau fish in this restaurant. He (chef) even deep fried the scales of the Empurau and served it as a dish. It was like eating crackers (literal fish chips!). Do yourself a favor and order his Peking duck. Price was ridiculously reasonable.

Great food, great privacy, just immediate opposite of Kwong Wah. Parking would be something headache as over there usually very crowded.

Near fine dining. Well presented delicious food. Highly recommended. But reservation is essential.

Food was delicious, very well prepared and presented, and quite different from what is served in the typical Chinese restaurant. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience.
