I came as a visitor to Malaysia with a skin condition that flared up unexpectedly on arrival. Dr. Lim literally came to my rescue, assessing my condition and providing me with the assurance and with his years of experience that my condition would improve within the week that I was visiting Penang. And it did! After experiencing this skin condition over a period of more than two months, the problem began to resolve and after one week and with my departure out of Penang, I was on my way to a full recovery. Dr. Lim was kind and patient to explain the manner in which I would treat my condition with the various creams and solutions I was prescribed.

While it took more than a couple of hours to be seen on my first visit, that was way better than waiting for an appointment in my own country that would've required a 5 month wait. I took his advice to come early to his clinic the second time, so that I could be in an out sooner. Being one of the first in the cue the second time, I was his first patient to be seen.

I cannot thank Dr. Lim more and appreciate his years of experience in Australia. Highly recommend. Worth the wait!

Both doctor Amanda and doctor Lim are seriously best dermatologist I have ever met, they are very passionate doctor, wanting to see their patient get healed permanently!
On top of it, both are very friendly and genuine.
Just to give you ideas how good they are, I willingly fly from Jakarta just to see both of them every 6 months to treat my deep acne scars, so you know how good they are! I can directly see such a significant improvement in my skin texture starting from my first visit to them.

Yes the line is long but it is definitely worth the wait, yes they need to add more staffs however dr Lim wants to hire only good quality staffs therefore havent been able to do so, so if you think you have a good quality as a staff you can approach them!

Already visit multiple times, and the medicine give really make different than other skin specialist visited before. Doctor Lim have much skin practical knowledge, effective skin solution, and even come out own formula of cream and medicine. What I see is it help my kid ezcema flaw up by covid vaccine seriously, I struggle everywhere for 2month+ with minor improve, but doctor Lim medicine and cream make a bright improvement in few days. Always crowded here, even move to new clinic, and need spent 1-2 hours waiting, pricing is high side, but what effectiness make it worth it.

Very good doctor, explains things in a very clear way. I’ve been there 3 times and I’ll keep going to Dr. Lim. Now they moved to a new place and it’s very big, clean and nice. The only problem is the long waiting time because they don’t give appointments but it is worth it.

My second visit to this clinic. I have tried vary skincare products to cure my acne but it still not totally cured. After consult with dr lim, he suggested me to do chemical peeling and give me cream. After 2 months of applying the cream, my face starting to get better. Even though i spent more on hotels and tickets from Indonesia, it’s all worth it. Thankyou dr lim huat bee👍

Dr ong who attended my mum with her skin sore. Gave another advice and alternative of wound healing with the medication etc. Sometimes, it takes luck to get a good doctor to advice what was best

Was recommended by my son to come here. Very good service and treatment. Very happy with result and experience.

Overall experience is okay, came on Saturday, need to be there at least 1 hours before the clinic open in the morning if you want to settle all thing within 1 hour. Overall use 1 hour to complete the meeting with Dr. Lim and take prescription.

First time being here myself but had a TON of family friends recommending this place. Obviously lived up to its hype!

First of all, place is super crowded so I do recommend coming early in person to get an appointment first. They do have a WhatsApp number, so you can try that too.

Wait time is 1-2 hours, but you can always grab a quick bite nearby while waiting.

Consulted directly with Dato Dr Lim Huat Bee, and one glance he knew right away what’s up with my skin. Experience does tell. He is also a great listener and is willing to answer a lot of the questions I had.

Also had a pleasant peeling session with Amanda. She is super friendly and we exchanged a good conversation. Had a bit stinging on my face, but beauty is pain right? Overall a really good patient experience.

Also they’re moving to a brand new building in a few months and its pretty fancy 😉 definitely recommend dropping by if you are visiting Penang and really need to up your skincare game

Dr Lim Huat Bee is an ethical doctor and he takes time to diagnose in detail the patients illness. He talks to patients as well to comfort them. All these takes time so waiting time maybe long on certain days ddpending on the complexity of the cases. Nowadays every specialist clinic is the same, just have to wait.

Dr. Lim has provided the reasons behind armpit odour and blackening of armpit skin alongside the effects of the treatment. He is helpful at answering all my doubts.
As a university student, the laser treatment has good-valued pricing compared to other places (RM400/treatment for both sides). I like the fact that I am not bonded to any packages and the number of treatments is solely based on personal condition.

I usually don't do reviews but I Dr Lim products are too good to not leave a review. I have problem with pigmentations and acne on my skin. Started getting treatment from Dr Lim In December. Got only one laser treatment, and after that it was just medication, both oral and cream. My skin has never been this clear and glowing. The medicine are of course a bit pricey but trust me it does wonders. Dont skip your appointments. Would 100% recommend

I have been to Lim clinic few times for my skin allergic, acne & uneven skin tone. I always prefer to see Dato Dr Lim Huat Bee. He is very friendly & gives very good consultation. Clinic is now moved to Macalister road and it's now very spacious & not congested as previous clinic located in Lorong Abu Siti.

I've been receiving laser treatment for pigmentation started from July 2020. With the continued treatments, my face is getting a lot clearer and brighter now. I'm very satisfied with the result. Highly recommended.

I've been receiving treatment for my acne from this place for almost 2 years now. I rarely leave elaborate reviews like this but I think it's deserving. Sure the meds and cream may be pricey but they definitely do the job. All you need is a little patience and compliance.

I have very VERY oily skin and I had to go on tablets for 2 years everyday and now, I'm happy to say that the sebum secretion is minimal. After the oil was under control, soon the pimples stopped appearing as well. I hardly get any pimples today. Only wish I went to Dr Lim sooner or I wouldn't have had to deal with acne for 10 years.

For sure it takes some time to get the pimples under control. The acne didn't become so bad overnight anyway. Understand that for the first 3 months, the oral medicine will cause a very slight breakout. I believe that is why I noticed some reviews complaining about how their acne got worse after they began treatment. I wish those people gave the meds a chance and stuck to the regime like I did.

Now I've started laser treatment for acne scars with Dr Lim. Each session hurts but I feel better knowing that my skin is getting better as well.
