Sinar Koffee Penang

Had an amazing long black coffee and a delicious milkshake. The pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet. The atmosphere is very relaxing and invites for a cozy breakfast or lunch. We will come back

This isn't the typical chic-looking cafe that cafe hoppers would expect. It offers a very casual, relaxed and yet localized experience where you could chit-chat, have conversations with the staff or the other customers.

We also had this interesting experience with a fellow customer, a student who was doing his programming assignments, was glad to have provided and shared some knowledge with him and made a new friend.

Cute little place with very sweet owners. İnstant noodles (esp stir fry) are delicious. Coffee is really good. There is WiFi and good breakfast options.

Hidden gem alert! Sinar Koffee in Penang is a charming little spot with a retro vibe. I loved the cozy atmosphere and friendly staffs who made me feel right at home. Their strawberry milkshake and pinky matcha was smooth and delicious, with the homemade fruity pancake was the perfect dessert treat. Definitely recommend this cafe for a relaxed and enjoyable coffee break! 🫶🏻

I've been here twice now. Seems to be a popular coffee/pancake shop and I can see why. They have some good quality coffee & food in a quaint tucked away shop. The staff are friendly & likeable & seem to genuinely care about the service they provide to their customers. Come here if you want good coffee with a personal touch 🥞🧊☕

If you want to start your morning with wonderful people and fluffy pancake, Sinar Koffee is a place!
Their banana pancake is really a great choice but we choose to give up the ice cream as we felt it’s too early for ice cream.
I love the ambience and the people here.

We were walking around the area after dinner and decided to drop in for coffee. Best decision we made that night. Coffee was excellent and so were the pancakes. Superb latte art by the barista. Place was cosy and atomsphere was relaxed filled with friendly people and staff. Had good chat and laugh with everyone there. Highly recommended for anyone looking for coffee in a relax place.

Went for breakfast here and got the biscoff pancakes and a hash brown on the side. The food was delicious and the service was very quick. Loved the vibe of the place too, they had a good playlist playing and loved all the posters on the wall. Will definitely be back! 10/10

Cosy little hidden gem. Happened to stumble upon this place looking for coffee around the area. The place is small but comfortable. 2 barista/cook/servers behind the counter were extremely accommodating and friendly. Coffee is dark roasted and very robust. Apple tea was premix thus on the sweeter side. Pancakes were the surprise. Fluffy, light and just the right amount of sweet. Pleasurable random experience

Came here for brunch, I had the biscoff pancakes and added strawberries/blueberries 🍓🫐 with a hash brown on the side and an iced mokka with oat milk. Can you believe the hash brown only cost 2RM!! The atmosphere in the coffee shop was great, they even have cards and board games you can play whilst you wait for your order. Aness was amazing, super friendly and quick service. 5/5 🌟 would highly recommend! Thank you xx

Very nice place and the owner is so sweet! We were talking about the fruits we should try during our trip in Asia and she let us taste fruit of her own fridge! She is kind and the pancakes are delicious!

My cousins and I were so lucky to have stumbled upon this place on our last day in Penang! Located strategically nearby Hutton Lane, this quaint little place served one of the best pancakes and coffee I’ve ever tasted. The owners were also super friendly and accommodating.
10/10 would definitely drop by here again next time we’re in Penang.

Serves house made pancakes, Tuna toast, coffee, Maggi, scrambled eggs on toast and more! Perfect place to just hang out with friends too.

5 stars for the vibes!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The owners are really friendly. This place is quite small but it feels intimate and the internet connection running fast. It has vintage vibes and the playlist is top-notch 🤌🫶 I found myself sang along also with other customers across my table hahahaha

The coffee came in Xtra Large cup 😂 It tastes unique with foams on top of it and gets sweeter as you reach the bottom. Such an experience to have it unstirred. You can still enjoy the bitter taste and get a bit of a sweet if you like.

I sat here working from the afternoon until they were about to close. If this place was near my home, I’d like to come often! 💛💛💛
