Rainforest Bakery

After visiting partner business, The Mugshot Cafe (next door), three times, I finally bought lunch here as well. Fantastic egg and avocado sandwich, and crazy good cranberry and cream cheese pastry. Their cakes and bakery items are just stunning - you must drop by and try something! Nice place to hang out as well, and very reasonably prices for such high quality food. highly recommend.

This has one of the best muffin I have tasted. If you ever come to this n bakery, be sure to buy their muffins. Its soft, fresh and deliciously tasty. You don't actually need to do much to enjoy it.

The scones were also quite good and I recommend you try that too. I didn't have a chance to try the others but some of the taste combination looks adventurous

The decor is simple, minimalistic and inviting. Unfortunately the next door linked mugshot cafe barista I think was having an off day because the coffee I ordered was terrible.

stunning bakery with an incredible variety of breads, yoghurt, pastries, cakes, smoothies and coffees!!! the staff is super pro and friendly. The coffee quality will enjoy the best coffee lovers with a very high standard. simply put: that place is FABULOUS!
(on my plate: egg salad croissant, avocado egg sandwich, double espresso and a mind blowing apple crumble yoghurt with lemon taste and huge chunks of apple at the bottom.

The vanilla2 came with rainbow color rice was sensational.Taste was good and the texture of the butter cream was not so sweet was just nice.Keep up the good work Rainforest Bakery&Pastry.100% recommended and worth it to have their veinoseries and pastries there….My wife love the cake a lot❤

Best bakery in Georgetown! They have so many delicious and fresh breads which are very hard to find in Malaysia. Plus the workers, especially Chong, are so nice, friendly, and give great suggestions on what breads and pastries to try. I went there almost everyday while I was in Georgetown. Highly recommend!

Pastries, baked goods, & cakes looked amazing! Ambiance of the cafe was great, friendly & helpful staff when i had asked for their recommendations, overall vibe reminded me of days studying in europe! would recommend their lemon chocolate gateau, a bit expensive but was good

Brave choices of cakes. You won’t see these many different varieties in other cafes, as most of them only bake commonly found cakes. The place and the ambient are cosy. You can find lots of seatings from in front of the cafes, until inside to the end of the building. And if that’s not enough, you can also sit at next door cafe, The Mugshot Cafe.

Great atmosphere, nice coffee and a lot of selection for breakfast/brunch, great cake and baked goods. Fun and artistic decorations, good spot to hangout and photograph.

Have direct door between, the cafe and bakery shares the same sitting indoor environment which offers a nice, artistic ambience. Definitely a spot to go by during your Penang trip. 🥐🥯☕

Went there on a Friday afternoon. Not crowded, no queue. Ordered tuna croissant and cinnamon nutella cake. The croissant was okay, slightly soggy from the tuna but the cake was delicious. Not too sweet and you can taste the cinnamon but it was not overpowering. Nice ambience.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a relaxed and inviting atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. A must-visit hidden "forest" in the town!

We got the banana upside down cake and the chocolate banana cake - both cakes moist and delicious. Also got the hot chocolate and that was really good. The place is inviting and staff are nice. Would recommend!

We bought our crossiants here everyday for our breakfast Dec/Jan. Lovely and flaky and tasty. Staff was always pleasant and happy to see you.

2 part cafe - one side has more lunch items like bagels, with coffees and smoothies. Other side is an amazing bakery selection with pastries, brownies, cakes, desserts.

Very nice coffee shop and bakery built into old colonial shop lot. Coffee and pastries were top notch. Prices were reasonable for the quality you get!

Staff was patient and polite while we figured out what we wanted. We ordered a chocolate croissant, almond croissant, and an egg with avocado sandwich. We wanted to order coffee but the staff kindly explained you need to order beverages at the connecting cafe but both establishments share seating areas. We ordered a cappuccino and caramel latte. My stomach can be really sensitive to milk and I didn’t have a problem with my latte. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, the bread on the breakfast sandwich was so good. We’re American and consider the croissants pretty good. before our meal was over, I was already planning to come back again.
